Cy is set to destory the entire market of company-wide performance coaching. It's not a performance issue, it's a "that person creates drama, just get them out" issue. Well done!!!

Thanks. I really believe in one-on-one coaching; coaching the person in front of you. A leaders' role is to help their team members live more skillfully in their reality. It's about changing mindsets and cultivating personal accountability. It's the person's choice to step up or step down. Thanks for watching!

You're not only breaking the "drama" that affects work place performance for employees, but the "drama" that many perfomance consultants actually foment to keep themselves billing. Meaning, all of these flow charts, models, gizmos and flavor of the month tools can be made unecessary with: "Isnt he/she just making it hard for everyone else to work because of drama?" I know you wouldnt go in that direction, but I can clearly see it disrupting this kind of outside-in approach vs your inside-out approach to increasing performance and giving people ownership of it. I'm a fan!

Well, one thing we have found that with all of the leadership and HR tools available for leaders, the drama isn't decreasing. So, something isn't working! Thanks for watching.

Ive watches 4 videos and see that basically its the employee that needs to hold themselves accountable. So that being said, its not the environment that can breed drama (aka: poor management) its the employee that premititates taking a position to cause drama because they don't just fall in line with everything they are asked to do. Lol. This is so one sided. Our current work structure dynamic in corporate America has such a high turn over with employees because of lack of communication, empathy and ethics. Companies see numbers not people. People cannot be summed up in a mathematical formula. We are living organisms with diverse backgrounds, cultures and communities. If managers would be honest about reality in a work environment from point of interview then people (candidate) can make honest decisions for themselves and establish if the position fits into their set values and determine if said position is sustainable in the long run. We as the candidate can ask ourselves "Can I jump on this bandwagon for the long haul?" Being in corporate America at every level since 2001 I have noticed REPEATEDLY how companies pitch a position one way at the interview level and then 6 months down the road change roles and responsibilities, pay etc...with no plan to migrate activities with a clear incentive plan that the employee agrees with only to see people become frustrated disgruntled and then leave the company. So when does the company ever hold themselves accountable? Just curious. This one sided point of view seems about right since the company is paying for this woman's services not the employee. Lol

No actually, she often talks about the management's responsibility to create a no drama environment.

Top performers are usually exceptional at what they do! And, they do get snapped up by competitors. 3 to 4 seems insignificant but it is significant to business profits and industry expertise. Professions like medicine (surgery) and law- clients want the best of the best, not someone who is mediocre that gets along great in a team that gets to go up against these top performers. Clients obviously aren't privy to drama within compaies. I would rather train and manage these top perfomers for my company because the value is extraordinary!! Develop relationships with them, bring them into your vision - you'll be surprised how great it will be for your business.

It's a continuum and no doubt the blend of head/heart will differ from position to position. That said, I challenge your idea about surgeons. Those who are assholes to others in the ER - not sure how that will necessarily work out for you. Drs are needing BOTH these days.

0:34 l agree at that point. I recall Sir Alex Ferguson, a football manager for Manchester United who sometime lecture in the Harvard Business School on Management, said that "..you got to have a balance of superstars and your "steady quite professionals who get the job done".
The player that was his first choice was Steve Irwin, a defender who is quite gets his job very well. Whereas one of his Superstars was David Beckham. However Beckham had an ego issue and caused "darma" amoung the team ( because of celebrity ststus & his famous wife) which caused Ferguson to get rid of him.

Wow lovely presentation, it’s great stuff to hear. It helps me think about my performance as a worker and growing so when I move on I’ll take these values I learned and be a professional that organizations need. I have a lot to think about. Is there a place where we can ask questions and your opinion ?

This video is so weird because I get everything she is saying, but she looks just like 90% of all the terrible dramatic people I've ever encountered at work 😆 But yeah, her message is spot on, but it's like she's talking about herself!
