Didn't he say that the joke went flat or the joke didnt fell complete.
I mean it didn't have to be Tim Allen. It could have been anyone else presenting an award alongside Tom Hanks and it would have had the same effect
When Ricky introduced Tom..goosebumps!
the lesson here is simple. Do not come out to present an award with one of the best actors of all time.
@webeffect He is there because he is the most influential director/producer in the world.
The fact Tim Allen was so bothered by it shows you why the joke works so well as its based in truth. Does Tim Allen really think he has had as much as an impact as Tom Hanks?
i didnt think he was bothered at all...he understands comedy being a comedian himself.
I think Tom Hanks was much more bothered by this than Tim Allen
Tim Allen voiced Buzz Lightyear. Have respect.
Epic win for Ricky.
I love Ricky Gervais even more now. Screw Tim Allen.
Well done Ricky Gervais
lmao he does this so perfectly
Yeah like he's rehearsed it for weeks before. It's not that hard dude.
It all makes sense now ...
He wasn't lying
"The other... Is not a pedophile"
Punchline works both ways. Either Tom needs so much to be listed with Tim or Tim has nothing to be counted as an acompliment... Such a brilliant joke.
Who cares if Tim Allen is pissed ,hes only an ex drug dealer anyway? Allen would not want to go toe to toe with Gervais ,it would be a slaughter.
