For any young people watching. Everyone’s hair is different. Don’t expect this to work on you just because it worked on them. Just remember that texture, thickness, thinness, curly, and straight all play a roll in how our hair will look or react to products. Lots of people spend lots of money to try and make their hair look like others, when sometimes it really just can’t. Just work with what you got. I don’t want anyone watching this thinking that they should or have to have their hair like this to be beautiful❤
I love you, I was thinking that this wasn't possible for my curly hair and it definitely wouldn't look as good or be as soft. I just felt like I lost the hair lottery
@@xXxHxpe-KunxXxoh no don't blame it on your beautiful curly hair, I have pin straight hair like this lady does but I promise it never looks that soft and shiny when I wash it at home 😅
Love this advice because I have VERY thick and coarse hair (it literally looked like the moms hair when I was a child) and no matter what I do I can’t successfully make my hair look like this. I have noticed that not heat styling it and just leaving it alone has helped the most. I’ll also try to style it without heat to damage it less. Love the hair you have girlies ❤ my hair isn’t perfect but it’s thick and long and I’m grateful for that.
Pro tip Shampoo twice first Then hair mask with steam Then conditioner Conditioner is meant to seal the tips of your hair so that’s why it should be last Ask any Brazilian/portuguese women We don’t mess around with our hair
@ it depends on the ph of the hair mask/ treatments, normally the ph of the conditioner is lower than a normal hair mask that’s why it goes last, but if the hair mask has a low ph like a conditioner, you don’t need conditioner. Some hair masks have the ph on the label or advise to not use conditioner. Plus taking notice of the hair type and it’s preferences, some hair adapt to different products
Steaming causes the hair cuticles to swell and contract. Doing this too often can actually increase your hair's porosity, making it duller, coarser, and more prone to breakage. Any treatment that attempts to change the moisture/protein balance in hair should only be pursued with caution. The main reason these women have straight, shiny hair is because they were born with straight, shiny hair. East Asian hair is the toughest of all hair types, with strands approximately double the thickness of Caucasian hair and over double the thickness of Afro hair. It has far more tightly packed cuticles and the highest elastic modulus. For this reason it tolerates and reacts to this treatment differently. Please be careful with clips like this, that give no context or seemingly offer results that are unrealistic for many of us - and could actually permanently damage your hair type. No matter what hair texture you have, there’s an advantage to it. By embracing and working sympathetic malls with the hair texture we were born with, we can bring out its own beauty. (Advice from someone with a degree in trichology.)
True. Asian hair is naturally beautiful. Shiny, glossy, silky, soft... They have the most amazing hair ever! I have curly almost afro hair and I hate it. It doesn't look silky nor shiny. When I brush/comb it, it takes me forever to remove the tangles. My hair is annoying to deal with. Whenever I comb it or try to make an hairstyle. I wish I had Asian hair. It's true what you said. They don't need hair care products because they were born with this type of hair. (shiny and smooth). I was born with shitty hair so I need hair care products to make it look more beautiful and shiny. But when I dont apply products, when I let my hair natural, it looks tangled and awful.
i actually find it so hard to believe your mum is over the age of 40, even without makeup on. i can tell she cares a lot of care for herself! ❤❤ edit: ok guys i KNOW shes 52! i may have been exaggerating a little, but that was because her mum does look fairly young and has gorgeous skin. anyways this is MY own opinion, if you think differently thats ok.

My first thought was like...thats just how east asian descent straight hair looks like to me...most of my cousins who are pure chinese have this hair type. Silky straight and very pretty. They didnt do shit to their hair other than shampoo and conditioner...some dont even condition their hair..
@@Viketta thats also a thing, you shouldn't put hair care products like hair masks and conditioners for longer than recommended, it can damages your hair actually
@@nara9173not necessarily. Watch Lab muffin beauty & Abbey Yungs videos about conditioning routines and duration. One damaging aspect is in regards to how vulnerable/weak one’s hair is when wet, if improperly handled it can cause damage
The steam is recommended for people with low porosity hair, because our hair cuticle is tightly clos and won't absorb products as much. But by steaming it, it open the cuticle and absorb moisturising products better!
@@Vlogsw_b If you have low porosity hair, it might take a lot of time to dry depending on the amount of your hair and thickness of your strands, and also might absorb products slowly.
It is true steam does help alot ! You can use any hair oil instead of any artificial hair mask and do steam. It will make your hair soft & silky saying through personal experience.
@@Jjinjaforreala couple of the masks are now popular bc it went viral, thus resulting in many people/creators of all different types/textures snd ethnicities showcasing their experiences with it!
