Hello, I'm from Brazil, can you help me? My table saw is new, it's been used for two days and it's not turning on anymore and there's no burning smell in the engine. Could it be the ignition socket?
Thanks for your question. By "ignition socket" l am assuming you mean electrical outlet? Where you have plugged in the saw, have you tried a lamp? Plug in a lamp, turn it on amd see if you have power.
@@HomeownerDIY Yes, where I connected the socket, there was power, it was working and the next day when I went to turn it on, it started to want to work and turned off and now it doesn't work anymore
This is perfect. Thank you. I just bought a table saw. It worked at the guys garage, then stopped working when i got it home. Gonna try this troubleshooting.
If you have any questions please let me know. Also, the switch maybe full of sawdust that is why it could be not making contact. You can try taking the switch apart before buying a new one.
@@HomeownerDIY ... but my stupid self misplaced the inside plastic switch cover. I'll make a new one out of a plastic cup etc... it just has to keep saw dust away from the switch.
Thanks for you comment, here is a link: www.amazon.ca/Craftsman-Table-Paddle-Switch-0LWG/dp/B08BNGNT6Q FYI, l dont know if this is a strickly Canadian switch, but I could only find it on Amazon.ca
