  • Covid stopped me from visiting Canada for three years. Now, I finally got across the border and into Saint Andrews, New Brunswick. Talk about a cool city on the water and one founded by British loyalists. The side streets are peaceful and the shops are delightful. Deer make the city even better and there are a lot of them, as you will see if you join me on this walking tour, travel vlog. We will even stop off on the water for some beautiful views at the end. Come along for the early morning walk on these quiet streets, get a little history, and some story time.
00:00 Introduction from Frederick Ave to Water Street to
02:35 Market wharf for St. Andrews harbor
05:26 King Street back to Water Street
07:55 British Street titles and Elizabeth Park
10:00 King Street shops and churches
14:27 Deer story and then hanging out with deer at cemetery
18:30 Kingsbrae entrance and Prince of Wales Street
23:24 More deer and Passamaquoddy Bay

Canada looks more European and Canadians seem to be quite polite, (not in your face) , Commonwealth right?
Most Europeans can stay for 6 months in Canada without too much stress and questions asked, in the US usually maximum is 3 months and a lot of Security bullying at the border. Who is more free though? I've heard few things about Canada and Australia in London though. They call those countries a "testing ground". No Comment, but I guess that's why Americans did fight for the Independence(Kosciuszko started in Krakow and finished in America)?

@perkunlitewski yes Commonwealth. I will say crossing the border was super easy and they just waived us through. 30 second conversation. Meanwhile coming back from Canada, I was in line for 30 minutes and talked to the border for 2 minutes.

So Americans aren't treated much better on their own border? A bit strange 🤔

Not really. It's always the same procedure. I once drove across to get lunch and still had a five minute conversation. I'm like you didn't see me just drive by over the bridge. This was in Lubec, Maine to Campabello Island. It's pretty slow...@@perkunlitewski

Hm... The first thing every European can see is how big everything is in America. Well, in Europe land is worth a lot, every meter counts like in the Netherlands.... 😆

Any Ducks in N. Brunswick? Stupid question, Germans do enjoy their delicacy in New Braunschweig, also known as N. Brunswick .😁
Why are those buildings white? So bizarre... The red ones (bricks etc...) might be Polish-German population.😆

@perkunlitewski I filmed the brick buildings for the Polish-German population :) I think it was for those with more money.

Or war, brick was used for defence purpose in Poland and Germany, that's why cities in Eastern Poland had to be built from the wood, this way Russian Army could quickly burn and capture it without heavy losses.
So yes Polish cities in the east are designed for destruction, I guess Americans don't think this way 😂

@@TravelwithMrJon Maybe you've noticed roofs in Gdansk are designed for Snipers.
