    Cutting old growth forest should be a crime! The best carbon sequestration trees and so few left.

      I agree, but I believe these trees are unhealthy.

      Actually a younger faster growing tree converts more carbon then one of these old slow growing trees. I also wanted to ask what your house is made of? Nearly all logging is on government crown land providing the world with wood.

      @@Tyrell.Walker why it a better idea to have old non growing trees that dont convert carbon and will be cut down anyways one day then it is to allow new trees to grow and covert higher levels of carbon? Sure its pretty and all but lets use our heads and common sense. Cutting these trees down and allowing new trees to grow will slow down human pollution more then letting them be there.

      @@Tyrell.Walker so is water, nutreints, sun, lol. I log for a living and its very apparent how the ground is below them and also south facing, north facing, ect, in the trees development.
