Didn’t work. When I got to the part where I change to 4500, the cropped box reverted back to a plain box but with a large band of white on one side. Why did it work for you and not me?
Is it what happens around the 3min mark on the video here? Cause the same thing kind of happens, so I had to turn on snapping and reposition the box to the middle of the new canvas of 4500x4500 pixels 👍

Love this tutorial!! But how did you rotate and change the candies sizes without getting the resolution changed? Mine always get so blurry when I rotate or resize my drawing.
my canvas won't let me make more than 5 layers :(
Select lower pixel count.
Reason 1: you made canvas too big that will limit the layers.
Reason 2: you made DPI too high that will limit the layers.
I used 150 DPI for rough sketch and 300 DPI for finished artwork.
People said 300 DPI is the best recommendation for finished artwork.
Reason 3: your regular iPad isn’t iPad Pro.
Reason 3 is why I chose my 2018 iPad Pro over my 2018 iPad.
I sold my 2018 iPad Pro for 2018 iPad Pro.

Wow so much work just to create a seamless pattern in Procreate. I wish they would just have this feature built into the app. It’s a basic and essential feature. All art apps should have a feature for creating seamless patterns.
Beejaydel has a much easier way on his channel.
