Thank you for going into easy to understand detail. You have answered many questions I’ve had. I just got my 1st ankle injection yesterday, after having sprained my ankle many times. Doc said arthritis is showing up on x-rays. I’m a 33 year old male. 284 lbs.

I'm just getting over one right now on my ankle, the swelling is starting to go down in the pain is decreasing slowly.
It has to be a sign of arthritis because I didn't do anything to injure it. Every year and a half or two years something like this happens to my body whether it's my ankle my foot my shoulder, it sucks and I'm only 55 years old.

Hi Paiman, Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your ankle! Swelling is the body's way of trying to stabilize an unstable joint. The long-term way the body does that is by overgrowing bone (developing arthritis). We would love to help you stabilize the ankle the way it was intended, by strengthening the ligaments that hold the ankle together. Prolotherapy is a non-surgical regenerative treatment that stimulates the repair of these tissues (i.e. ligaments, tendons) that lose the ability to heal on their own. If you would like to have our team review your case in more detail, we would be happy to. You can email us directly through our site or info@caringmedical.com. Wish you all the best!

Hi Edgars, Sorry to hear about your ankle pain! We would need to examine your ankle in person and see how you are able to walk, as well as take a look at the tissue under ultrasound. If you would like to avoid surgery, we would be happy to have you come in for an exam and consultation and see if you are a good candidate for Prolotherapy. You call our team or contact us through our website or email info@caringmedical.com. Wish you all the best.

Hi Crybaby in the neighborhood, Thank you for reaching out and so sorry to hear about your ankle pain. It doesn't necessarily matter if you cannot remember a specific incident that caused trauma to your ankle. Pain is pain and it's awful to go through! Pain is our body's way of saying there is underlying tissue damage that needs repair. It is a signal that should never be ignored. Our job is to identify what the problem is and how to resolve it to help you attain your functional goals. Our clinics specialize in non-surigical regenerative medicine that treats the cause of joint pain, typically stemming from joint instability and ligament laxity. Arthritis and other conditions are the effects of the destructive joint motion caused by joint instability and ligament laxity. Our clinics specialize in repair of tissue to alleviate the pain for long-term results. We would be glad to review your case in more detail and see you in one of our clinics as a patient. You can reach out to us directly through our website or info@caringmedical.com. Wish you all the best!

Hi Moulali, Thanks for sharing your story and we're sorry to hear about your ankle injury. It does take time for the human body to heal, over the course of weeks and months. We understand how terribly frustrating it can be. Hang in there! Perhaps when your cast is off and the doctor has cleared you to start some more physical activity, you could consult with a prolotherapist to address the ligament damage that occurs during a force like a fracture, and hopefully work toward repairing the ankle enough so you can eventually get back to running. We wish you all the best in healing.

I had an accident on my right ankle 4 years ago. A ligament injury and I am very well. But I realized a year after (2016, that my left foot and ankle started swelling, though no pain. I complained about it but my doctors here said it's probably as a result of resting on it (since it was the good leg) when I had the right ankle injury. It's now 4 years after my first injury and the foot is still swollen. Worse still, in February this year I had a metatarsal fracture in the left foot, thankfully it has healed but my ankle and foot are still swollen and aches a little. It's obviously swollen such that when I put on shoes I could feel the difference in both legs. What do I do as I am tired of swallowing anti-inflammatory drugs

Hi Davina, Glad you are taking matters into your own hands and looking for better options than dangerous NSAIDs, which only accelerate the degenerative process. We would be happy to talk with you more about your case. We help patients with chronic ankle pain from all types of injuries, whether post-fracture, tendon tears, ligaments sprains, etc... These all respond very well to regenerative treatments like H3 Prolotherapy, sometimes using your own cells from your blood or stem cells too. We'd love to help you finally get rid of the chronic pain. Please reach out to us directly to discuss your case privately: info@caringmedical.com or through our CaringMedical.com site. Wish you all the best and thanks for reaching out!
