Nice comparison. I own the Bellroy 9L, I agree that a carry handle would be nice, but if you want to just grab it, go to either end and just grab the strap, BINGO, carry handle. I do love the bag!
I'll be visiting San Francisco with my family soon and decided to pick up a bag for my EDC. I decided to pick up the Aer Day Sling as I really loved the look of the bag. And seeing as I didn't need anything too big, I figured that would be a good choice. However when the time comes for me to get something bigger, I think the Bellroy would be the way to go. I don't know, the Aer Day Sling Max seems too confining. If I were to go larger, I think the Bellroy is the better choice.
Compared to other review video's, yours by far is the best. What I like is the fact that you compared two bags that I have been contemplating in getting. I also like that you showed all the compartments of both bags and shared your experience with both bags. From your review I think the Bellroy is a better fit.
Great comparison! I was trying to decide between these 2 bags and this video helped a lot. I think I’m going to go with the Bellroy for the aesthetics and compression feature.
If you're that concerned about glasses put them in a case for crying out loud. I don't like the gaps in the main compartment of the bellroy when zipped - too easy to lose small items or get water etc in the bag. What I would miss is the easy sling release of bellroy, but prefer everything else on the Aer.
I firstly bought the Bellroy one since it's hard to buy the Aer one in Mainland. However it's difficult to take my iPad 11 with its case. Going to order an Aer Day 3
Fantastic comparison! I was torn between these two and this was exactly what I needed. Tons of details that hadn't even occurred to me to consider. Thanks!
The bellroy - mostly because after watching this video, I remembered that in the past, Iused the strap adjustment much more than buckles to put on and take off bags like this. Personally, I like the look of the bellroy a little more, too. The 20% reduction in weight is a big plus too.
@@dustingrant4557 Yeah, I bulkiness of the Aer isn't for me either. Almost a bit turtle like. It's a shame that Bellroy's internal organisation is lacking. And their camera 10l version didn't fix that.
Hey what a great comparison!! Love the video! Got theBellroy and absolutely love it! Just wanted to add to your fantastic video that the Bellroy actually have... TWO... Handles!! One in each end😉 Take care and have a super duper day!!!
Bit confused at the Aer part where you say it doesn’t fit an iPad. It fits my iPad 11’ with Magic Keyboard and AirPods Max and a bottle and my tech kit, so I’m not sure what you are referring to at that part!
I’m presuming you were comparing the 6L versions of both bags? Your comments re the differences and how they worked for you were also VERY handy. Well done!
The Alpaka Bravo Sling Pro is far better value IMHO and fits 11” iPad Pro with keyboard case. Three compartments and the rear compartment is RFID lined. Got mine for $70.
Do the aqua guard zippers loosen up over time? I just got an Aer bag in and the aqua guard zippers are very stiff where it takes quite a bit of effort to unzip them
Great comparison, have you ever considered reviewing the TNF Caban 2.0? There is almost no coverage of it on YT and it would help people en the edge of buying.
Hello Desy, hope you are well. I have a question for you that should help with my decision in choosing my next bag. Out of these slings and the Billingham Hadley Small Pro, which do you prefer as an everyday tech carry that can also fit a mirrorless camera with a prime lens attached? Would be awesome to hear your thoughts!
I have that iPad and I got the Aer for it. Happy with my choice. Fits a 500ml drink bottle as well as the iPad with plenty more room for smaller items and even a packable jacket as well.
I like both but I'm biased for the Aer Day Sling Max. I have the Day sling 2 and used it for a long time daily, love it. Now I have a Samsung Tab S8 and want something to carry it.
The Aer has quite a few more features (especially the back pocket), but the Bellroy is a lot more aesthetically pleasing (despite this one not being up to their usual standards) while still being very useful.
@@troigrlBellroy looks like a full-fledged bag. And this has the shape of a belt bag, it even has a zipper on its side, as in the belt of the bag. For Europe, Bellroy is better, because no one wears belt bags on his shoulder, diagonally on his back
every brand / manufacturer has their own guidelines of how they measure volume. Your right I don't think the Bellroy is exactly 3L larger. But it just gives you a rough idea!
Hey me gusto mucho tu comparación!

Just do the free shipping. Oh, it also takes them about 2 days to packaged up your order 🥴 so make sure to add 2 days to your time frame. I hope they will have a vendor in the US here to make it easier and faster.
I suppose all the slings have the corner gap issue, i saw a purchased reviewer comment where he said that it didn’t matter much as long as you don’t keep tiny things in the main compartment and as for weather proofing it survived well.
I love the first person POV! Very helpful!

The Aer day sling 3 silhouette increased to 7L with the sunglasses pouch and straps on the Bellroy in x-pac would be endgame medium size sling for me

I have a Bellroy and I am in the middle way of considering buying a new Aer, thanks for your video, that would help me with making my decision :D

I could fit an iPad air in my Bellroy... If that helps...
How about 12.9 inch?
Between these two, it's the sling 3 max

I wish there's a female perspective. For the 6L max, I feel like there are other alternatives (female purse, or small backpack). Lol.

What's the name of the song and by whom at the end of the video?
