New nurses endure a lot of stress and anxiety during the first 6 months on the job and some may make their first mistake during that time. If you make a mistake, remember that you must not bottle up your feelings but talk to another nurse about it. Also, be sure to always acknowledge and correct your mistake (don't try to hide it or shift blame onto someone else). If you liked this video you may be interested:

I am a victim of bottling up my feelings and then feeling inadequate especially when other nurse are troubling and discouraging you about the mistake. Sigh smh. 🥺😔😭
Thank you nurse Sarah for your inspiring videos! ❤️ Thanks be to God, I'm also now a Registered Nurse. To god be all the glory! 💖
I just want to THANK YOU Sarah for your videos. I was a Nursing student that is quite weak on contents and no matter how much I tried to study, I could not get myself to make the materials stick to my head. I watched many of your videos and all of them truly helped me study. I love a lot of your Acronyms and your quizzes after each lesson. And I am now can proudly say I AM A REGISTERED NURSE! To those who are watching and hoping to become an RN, but are feeling depress and just want to give up...Please DON'T! I just very recently (actually three days ago) received my RN license. This happen after three years out of school and third times taking the NCLEX-RN. For the last three year, I kept my feeling bottled up, I just felt hopeless and I did not know who to talk too. I was shameful because all of my friends passed on their first try. I started to be so scared of the NCLEX and it does not help when I am the worse test taker. I let time pass by because I just cannot bring myself to study for it. A lot of times, I felt it was like a vicious cycle. I finally say to myself that after my third try, if the result is bad, it must means that I am not fit to be an RN. However, I cannot believe that I have reached one of my major goals. So DON't Ever Give Up on all of your hard work in Nursing school. Watch Sarah's video, it truly helps me so much. Do learn some strategies to help you take the NCLEX too. Good Luck!
sweetpuppy120489 Thanks you for sharing and congratulations.
CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so very happy for you! This is excellent advice for anyone who is struggling with passing NCLEX...don't give up! It is so awesome you didn't let your struggles defeat you and kept trying. I'm so humbled that my videos helped you prep and that you found the acronyms and quizzes to be a good resource....that makes me very happy. From one nurse to another, I wish you the absolute best in your new career as an RN. THANK YOU so much for this comment...it really meant a lot to me :)
Hey, everyone :). Thank you so much for watching the video! I hope it helps encourage you future and current nurses out there. I look forward to reading everyone's comment! -Sarah

Do most nursing schools work with you if you're in the military?
I'm not quite sure. I would email a program you want to attend and ask how it would work with your military schedule and classes. Best wishes!
RegisteredNurseRN Appreciate your time :-)
Can you do a video on blood pressure? Mine flucuates so much. One day it'll be 150\110. Next day it'll be 118\90. Is this normal for your bp to go from high to low(er)? When my doctor checks it, she thinks my bp runs too high for my age. Does age play a big factor in it?
I do have a video blood pressure here: ua-cam.com/video/OQHkGZjfuc8/v-deo.html
Your blood pressure can fluctuate throughout the day (depending on the time of day....it tends to be the lowest in the mornings and what stress you've experienced that day, your diet (eating foods rich in sodium can make it high etc.) As we get older our arteries tend to harden (among other factors...genetics, lifestyle, not exercising regularly etc.), so the older you get there is an increased risk of experiencing high blood pressure. I would suggest asking your doctor if you could wear a 24 hour blood pressure monitor to assess your blood pressure throughout the whole day. Then go with the doctor's advice from there.
Ok thank you so much. I appreciate you. Have a good day.
love the maternity lectures can you present fetal lie in relationship to spine of the mother.
