It’s great to have true friends stay by your side but also to make you laugh what I like about these episodes yes they are based in Ireland of course but it shows how they go about their day to day happiness weather it’s work or school of of different genders but also this episode is about thinking you have to change to fit in but also going through pain just to prove people wrong

Thank you Arron! Fantastic to see how the show we love to watch has evolved. Both myself and my husband find the BBC version just so funny and like Mrs Brown I have to be careful with wetting my pants too as there are times when it's just so hilarious.🤣🤣🤣Great to see the original inspiration and we will be catching up with these fascinating insights into how it all began 🥰
It the same with BBC Canada vs The US version.the USA one has all the great shows, but here it is basically Home and gardens (HG tv)with 9ne or if lucky 2 shows, squeezed in.

@@Showtime6192009 Very cool! Obviously I remember these storylines from the live audience show, but I also like that they add a bit of realism as well. It may not be as punched up as what I’m used to, but I can see why it got picked up. Also love the around the town scenery they show

Hear, hear, well said! There really are some bloody morons making comments on youtube and if anyone doesn't find anything to do with Mrs Brown's Boy's funny then they must be brain dead!
This new version is not as good as the older one. The replacement staff are not as good, Mrs. Brown's wig is terrible and makes her look decrepid, this one has many outdoor scenes whereas the original was cozy and sweet with the old comfy furnishings. Mostly. Mrs Brown had a sweetness in the old show she doesn't have here. Why do a new version when the original was beautifully and hilarious done?
Who puts dogs into homes when they get old or disabled? Not only does this never happen ( dogs are put into homes because the *owner* can't or won't look after them ), she talks about there being 'lots of fields with lots of space to run about', if it's a home for elderly & disabled dogs how would they be running about? This is horrendous writing & the standard did not improve at the BBC, in fact they had the arrogance to reuse these scripts. None of it makes any sense, that's the trouble. The grandad looks barely older than Mrs Brown & is seen running, he'd be well over 100 years old in reality. Her daughter says 'we knew you'd forget', who forgets their *own* birthday? For comedy like this to work it has to be believable, nothing about the show is, it's literally as if a 6 year old child had written it.
