  • The Scriptures teach that where there is forgiveness through Christ there is no longer any offering(Heb 10.18) that a person needs to make for the atonement of their sins. The Scriptures also teach that if you reject the Gospel of Christ, which is the only place of forgiveness, there no longer remains any other sacrifice for your sins(Heb. 10.26).

Hebrews 10:26 is referencing the SIN OF PRESUMPTION.
NEVER presume on GOD’s grace and mercy-it is available ONLY to the truly repentant and humble heart.

There is still hope sinners God forgave Adam after he had perfect knowledge perfect logic and he wasn’t deceived when he sinned 1 Tim 2:14 he sinned deliberately after seeing and walking with God he knew better he wasn’t ignorant yet he died spiritually but God forgave him and covered his shame. Do not belittle the cross cry out to Jesus

In context hebrews 10 is about animal sacrifices vs Christ's sacrifice. They were going back to animal sacrifices for forgiveness. This is how they were counting the blood of Jesus as an unholy thing. The go on sinning deliberately is referring to them still doing animal sacrifices.

What about the people who stay in church their whole life and still go to hell? They stayed with the brethren and still slipped away into destruction. So how can we perceive this type of drift?

(Observation: I'm brazilian, and I don't know english very well, but I hope you understand me. I used google translator for some help)
Understand: all those who repent and come to God will be saved. All of them. God never rejects a man who approaches Him with a contrite heart and a sincere desire to have communion with Him. So, if God is calling you today, go to Him! Answer the call! He will not reject you; rather, he will take you in his arms with a sweet hug. Remember the promise: "'Everyone the Father gives me will come to me; and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.'" (John 6:37)
What Pastor Tim is saying is that men have no control over their heart. They don't know until when their hearts will be willing to repent, that is, until when God will be willing to perform the new birth in them. So, if God is calling you today, go to Him today! (Observation: I don't know if that is your situation, I'm just giving enfasis in case it is). It may be that tomorrow the man who rejected the gospel will find within themselves a heart hardened to death and that hates even hearing the name of Christ. Those who reject the Gospel after having known it have reached that level. They can no longer and will not repent. It's not that God will refuse their repentance, it's that they won't repent! This is the reality of apostates.
Isaiah says: "Seek God while he can be found, call on him while he is near." Do you really think this means that a contrite and broken man who comes to God with a pure heart will be rejected by Him because time has passed? No! If you look at other parts of Scripture, you will discover that repentance and faith are works of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, if a man repents of his sins and seeks the face of God, it is because God Himself is powerfully working in him and will not reject him! That's what John 6:37 means!
Look at the Pharisees, for example. Do you think they were lost because even though they tried to get closer to God, He rejected them? No! They were lost because they deliberately set themselves against God and His anointed. Yes, they knew that Jesus is the Christ, but they purposely set themselves against Him, because their hearts were the declared enemies of God, and God was their declared enemy. They didn't want to come closer to God; their hearts would never humble themselves before the mighty hand of God. Therefore, they could no longer be saved. There was no more word to be said to them, no more sign to be made, because they knew the truth! They did not put Christ on a cross out of ignorance. They knew that He is the Son of God. They knew that He did what He did by the power of the Holy Spirit, and yet they called Him Beelzebub. For these, there was no more sacrifice. What else could be said to them?
To finish, I will tell you a story that I heard from Spurgeon in one of his preachings. An ungodly man, after many years of living in sin, began to be touched in a sermon. He became desperate over the condition of his soul. When he finished the sermon, he was walking home with the preacher and spoke to him about his discomfort. The preacher made light of everything so that the man's fear ceased. He did not heed the voice of the Lord. Years passed until the day he found himself on his deathbed in despair, convinced of his condemnation, but an enemy of God. On this occasion, he sent for the preacher who treated his soul so carelessly to visit him and said to him: “Look at my situation. Today I am convinced of my condemnation; I can no longer regret it; I hate Christ and He hates me. I have made myself an enemy of God and I will not humble myself under His hands. I know I will be condemned, but I also don’t want to be in heaven with this God, because I hate him.”
This is the reality of a man who can no longer be saved. A man, however, who repents and draws near to God can be sure that God is favorable to Him! After all, isn't that what it says? “Everyone the Father gives me will come to me; and whoever comes to me, I will never cast out.” O child, if you want Christ and come to Him it is because you are a child of God!

All I want to do is give up. I'm going to hell. I care. But I've done it. I've committed the unpardonable sin. I will die. I will suffer. I'm sorry God. But you are Just.

    • @ReedemedServantOfChristJesus

@rachii6687 at this time I was under severe demonic attack on my faith. After falling unto deep sin I read Hebrews 10:26 and Chapfer 6. This devastated me. Horribly si. As you can see. I thought I had fallen away therefore committing the unpardonable sin. This has been the most violent spirtual fught I've ever hard in my entire life and it lasted 3 weeks and the after shocks are still evident. This comment, 6 days ago, proved the intensity. I thought no matter what I did I would no longer have grace by the blood of Christ and no longer be saved/forgiven. I thought I had profaned the blood of Christ and would never be renewed to repentance again. These are all lies because I never rejected Christ and deliberately with full knowledge sin agaisnt God with no care or in direct intent for opposition but I did fall. Severely. God chastened and scourged me so severely. I had thought I had God's protective hand tooken from me for a time.

No one is too far gone and nothing you have done is bigger than Christ. His flood covers all and His desire and will is for you to be saved and to walk as His son. You're still alive therefore His salvation is still for you. DO NOT listen to the lies of the enemy. Trust only God's Word. Hear me today Frank- YOU ARE SECURE IN CHRIST.

@Mrmattmillar alot has happened since this comment. I've learned from multiple scourging and chastening and strong disciplines God has given me through multiple failings in this praticular sin. I am a child of God, although I am often plagued with doubt because of this ongoing war for fleshy things whilst abhorring it and desiring it to disappear. I am under total slaughter and disturbing amounts of spiritual warfare most nights. But I know I am saved. Because of His promises. Yet I am concerned I am of the many thay have said lord lord. Or even thr man without the wedding garment, or one of the foolish virgins.
