Hey BEAT family! The series continues today! If you missed any of the first four videos, I encourage you to get caught up with this exciting series. Enjoy!
There are two kinds of Christians, those that are spiritual and those that are carnal. Spiritual meaning regenerate, and carnal meaning unregenerate.
If mature means to be complete, or perfect, this would describe the spiritual Christian, who has overcome the world, while the carnal Christian is still a babe, bound by sin and still serving sin. Of whom a man is overcome, of the same he is brought into bondage.
This does not mean that the babe in Christ is not saved, but is given mercy and grace to overcome the world.
If there is no sinless perfection by the new covenant Heb10, there is no new covenant as promised in Ezek36, whereby God promised he would cause his people to walk in his statutes and to keep his commandments, by reason of the new birth, a new heart and a new Spirit.
Also, If there is no sinless perfection, there is no return of Christ, because he is returning for a church without spot, without wrinkle. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
None are willing to acknowledge that they are babes, as they have not yet crucified the flesh and the lusts thereof, this is just fleshly pride, hindering the apprehension of the grace God gives the humble, to walk in his statutes and to keep his commandments. If we are guilty of one sin, we are guilty of them all.
If we commit murder only once, we are a murderer, if we steal only once, we are a thief, but if we confess our sin, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and to CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.
We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
Babes endure chastening, because God chastens those he loves, but if we are not chastened, we are not sons but bastards. We are chastened that we might be partakers of his holiness, for he has said, Be ye holy for I am holy. Yet in my 42 years as a Christian, I have never heard a Christian say that he is being chastened of the Lord. Being ignorant of the fact that chastening is not pleasant but grievous, and can result in trials, afflictions, weakness, sickness and death. It is also written, My people perish for a lack of knowledge.
We are chastened of the Lord that we should not be judged with the world, and if we would judge ourselves, we will not be judged. We are to examine ourselves, whether we are in the faith.
Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? GOD FORBID.
We been given grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, the gifts of God are effectual.
Be blessed, that you may be a blessing.
Well done!

I was a carnal christian from age 14 to 24. 10 years of walking in darkness and believing in “hyper grace”. I was truly converted this August when I submitted to the Heavenly Father. My heart has changed and the seeds that were planted have finally sprouted. Praise YAH✝️🙌🏽
Were you still saved during your hyper grace phase?
whats hyper grace to u
@@PeeGeeMAnU what is hyper grace in general it is a new term to me
@@Opin10n
hyper grace or " free grace" is the theological system that claims that Christians with evil deeds will have eternal salvation. They deny that true saving faith is always transformative unto a changed life and falsely use scriptures such as 1cor3:15 to make these claims. Scripture says that those with true saving faith ( confidence in the Gospel promise, trust in God) will ALWAYS live in- or return to repentance of their sins. They will not end their life in sin. 1jn3:7-10, gal5:19-21, mattew13:41-42. Free grace or hyper grace denies this, which proves them to not really be operating in the Spirit. I do believe that many if not most of these hyper gracers were saved in the past, and this doctrine that they now profess is merely a sign of their falling away from Christ and going back into the world. Some who teach this false doctrine in it's purest and most blatant form here on UA-cam: Renee Roland, Gregg Jackson, David Benjamin, Jacksmack77, Good Hope. Some of which have addressed me in their videos, saying that I am a wolf because I teach that scripture warns of loss of salvation, and a demand for us to endure by faith until the end to be saved. Hebrews 3:11-14, 1cor15:1-2, Luke 8:13, Hebrews 10:36.
I haven’t heard the term hyper grace before, but it sounds like when a saved person believes they can live however with no submission to Christ, and God will just forgive it over and over again. Essentially when a Christian discounts the blood of Christ, by carelessly snuggling with the same sins His blood paid for. I think that’s what it is
Thank you Pastor. You have been my go to for years. Never lose that Boldness. Glory to God.
Amazing teaching, I’m realizing I’m not spiritually mature, or a baby…… I guess I’m in my teenage phase of spirituality🤔😂 need to work on growing up…. God bless you thank you for obeying the Holy Spirit and putting these UA-cam videos out.🙏
Yes! I relate to the teenage statement! Doubting my maturity now, this video is a good push to spend more time in the Word.
Same, but the devil has got me distracted and trying to take me out lately.
@@There-is-hope43 not gonna happen. You belong to God!
Same here😊
Yes to this comment. I am so glad I found this series. It has me taking a deeper look in examining myself and my relationship with the Lord. I pray for our continued growth
Brother in Christ. Praise God for giving you the strength to do his work. Sipitual growth is my current duty in my household feeding my little family with the word of God. And I see my son and my wife growing from their own desire and into Christs desire. My son is in a football team. The reason why coach chose him to be the captain is because after every training. He would clean up the equipments. And this is because the other day we talked about what Jesus said to his disciples that if you want to be a leader, you need to serve, if you want to be first, you need to be last. I guess my son practiced that in his football. Thank you for the reminder. May God continue to give you the strength for his work. God bless.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing and I pray God blesses you and your family continually ❤
That’s beautiful. What a humble heart your child has. Way to practice the word of God and be an example!!
Resisting sin and strife is a big part of being a mature Christian, also studying God's word a lot, and praying in tongues, praying in the Spirit will grow you leaps and bounds bringing you into the mind of Christ revealing all secrets and mysteries. Good video.
Lorie Haisen Speaking in Holy Spirit tongues is a precious gift, but don't forget that spiritual fruits should accompany spiritual gifts.
Not every Christian will speak in tongues.
@@geebee1514 True. The gift isn't a requirement for salvation. It's just a more intimate union with God.
Your ministry is so important especially for the "baby Christians". I remember when I got saved a few years ago, my UA-cam feed was just full of your short, quickfire 7-10 minute videos on the basic essentials of the faith. It's like for every question I had there was a video titled with the answer to my question. I appreciate you for that, brother Allen. God bless
Once again you've hit the nail on the head. It's encouraging to hear what Gods word says about Spiritual maturity. Thank you for providing clarity on what we may need to strive for in our walk with the Lord. So thankful for His mercy, grace and love that is so needed by us all.
8:32 Really convicted me. Thank you for your wisdom, Brother Parr. I need to spend more time with my Father, instead of watching UA-cam videos. Thank you.
I am glad to hear you found this video helpful! Thanks so much for watching and for your comment, Arrrowhead32 .
Wow! Thank you for making this and reminding me that I am a mature Christian! I needed this. Been in a rough season.
A lot of times that's what makes us mature 😉
I was saved 15 years ago, but unfortunately still an underdeveloped Christian. Now that I'm older I'm trying to clean up my life, but still struggling to walk the Christian walk. I struggling with controlling anger, forgiveness, and listening to metal music. It's like an addiction and even though it's as simple as just stopping, I keep finding myself relapsing into sin. I hate myself for it. 😔
I’m going through the exact same thing, but Jesus loves us no matter what. Try not not to dwell on the negatives and failures, Jesus sure isn’t, He just want us to get up again and walk with him. ❤
Keep asking the Father to set you free from it
You can find Christian metal and check other songs for lyrics that align with Godly values or otherwise don’t lead you astray. But always back things up with God and seek to glorify him. God bless you.
Thank you Allen! This video greatly encouraged me in a time of severe depression which has also led to spiritual depression. I’ve had a past that I wish I could forget and start over from including a dysfunctional family and a plethora of social, emotional, and psychological issues. I grew up in the church but likely wasn’t saved until sometime in high school based on my fruit and convictions. I’m a freshman in my local community college and I’ve lost two of my best friends to university. I’m waking up later than some peoples part time jobs probably end, my grades are slipping, I’m on my phone for up to 8 hours a day consuming media such as UA-cam which does include Christian content from various solid brothers in Christ that you know. I’m always reading deeply into theology, literally covering almost all the topics you mentioned. But I’ve had little to no motivation to read the Bible, turn in my homework, or do anything that involves me not being on my phone. I know it’s a serious addiction that’s taken over my life recently and I need prayer and change. Fortunately I recently started leaving my gospel tracts out in public again and I’ve felt the Holy Spirit’s convictions in the way I’ve talked to people and how I’ve gotten offended at things I shouldn’t have. My latest OCD introspection has led Him to sanctify me by reflecting on my very clear shortcomings but I’m burdened by the guilt of my flaws every single day which is also contributing to my life of utter laziness. All this to say, I probably have the knowledge of a mature Christian but my life at the moment is a mess and you might as well say I’m living in carnality by doing absolutely nothing most days except for hanging out with friends. I have confidence that in truly saved which is something I’ve always wrestled with but I feel just about the dirtiest, vile saved person on the planet earth. I don’t know where I fit in to any of these categories but your videos have always been a blessing to me regardless of theological disagreements I may have. God bless you brother!
The devil is a liar. We are all unworthy but have been justified by Jesus Christ's sacrifice when he died on the cross. Your life has value in the same way that a dirty $100 bill has value. It doesn't matter how dirty it is but still has worth. Repent from what has you feeling unworthy and ask the Almighty to guide your steps and your actions. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
great great video. im a carnal christian and u said 5 years is bad...... im at about 10 and i needed this video to help me in my growth. Thank you Jesus Christ
I can admit, I float between the carnal and the spiritual. Some days are always better than others, but there's definitely a war in My flesh and my spirit daily and sometimes hourly.
I pray everyday that Christ will not meet me with my sins, because I have so many I would never be able to stand before him. I fear hell all the time and that's even believing in Christ in his redemption.
Don't believe this guy when he says " if you remain carnal you might not have ever been saved". He's a liar. The bible tells us clearly that we can lose our Salvation. It's " leaders" like Allen parr that tell you that you are secure but maybe your not saved that are making you feel the way you do. Cling to Christ with fear and trembling and acknowledge that he has the power to throw you in Hell, and then knowing that you can soberly rely on his promises to those who rely on him and do not turn away from the faith. It's very serious, but when we cry out to God because it is so serious and scary, he will always say " here I am" and he will lead us through the parted sea (death and hades) and lead us to the promised land ( eternal life). He will not let us perish, IF we lean on him until the end. Watch out for false teachers. They cannot address your fears and instead will tell you to have assurance because you got saved.

Same here. I know how that feels.
If we confess our sin he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we would judge ourselves, we will not be judged. Examine yourselves whether you are in the faith. God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
Peter said, We are saved, not by the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but by the answer of a pure conscience toward God. Simply repent, you cannot change yourself, allow God to work in you, both to will and to do his good pleasure. The secret of Christianity is not in doing but in being. Being born again.
Men do not gather grapes of thorns nor figs of thistles. A good tree can only bear good fruit.
Grow in grace and in the knowledge of God and of Christ.
Now that I know that I am still a babe in the spirit , I am gonna do everything it takes to grow
Pray God lifts the scales from the lukewarm and lost eyes, opens their ears and soften their hearts. Pray God brings revival to the earth. Pray the Lord of Harvest send forth laborers into the harvest. Pray God strengthens His children, gives them more discernment and wakes them up ⬆️

Please pray for me. My name is Belinda. I keep messing up & really need Jesus intimately in my life. I have no peace or joy. I feel so fake, such an hypocrite. I really need to change drastically. I'm so scared of going to hell. Sorry 4 my moaning but i really need some Christian loving encouragement & advice right now. Thank you. I also have addictions which I'm struggling with. Will i ever
I sadly still struggle a lot with being "in this world but not of this world"...
Thank you so much, brother Allen. Such wisdom. I was a carnal Christian for many years. I had the "head knowledge" of God, yet I still dabbled in sin. I had sins I did not want to give up. But in 2019, God chastened me. It hurt very badly, but I NEEDED to get hurt! I've never been the same. No turning back, no turning back. Praise the Lord!!!
Awesome message Pastor! 💯🙏 I believe another sign of spiritual maturity is seen in our friends. When I first got saved, yes, I still hung around the same worldly friends and I can honestly say that things got weird as I grew in Christ. Therefore, I had to trust God for some new friends. Praise God for Him coming through with a fresh set of believers who also became accountability partners.
Grrr, I have a fight with myself here. I am stubborn, and sometimes I'm stubborn for God, and sometimes not. If only I leaned towards God everytime! When I do things I'm not supposed to, makes it harder next time. Grrrrr, self, grrrr!
Primarily when you refuse Bible correction not church organizational Bible correction but true infallible Biblical correction.
Allen I’ve been on somewhat of a spiritual journey lately. It has taught me so much and I get emotional thinking about it. I got lost looking for Jesus but he paved a path right to me. I’m profoundly blown away by this new perspective and blessed to be apart of this bodily experience 🙏🏼
Wonderful. Also these three can be sign of mature believer:
- Fighting for the spiritual growth of others e.g our children.
- Fullness of Christ Jesus in our lives
- Firmness in our Faith
All these Paul speaks of them in
Colossians 2:1-5.
Stay blessed saints.
Thanks brother.
This was a very great topic Allen. Although I gave up all the worldly ways that I used to live (smoking, drinking and listening to ungodly music) I definitely know that I still have a lot of spiritual growth that I need to continue in my life..
Thank you so much Brother Allen. I am literally struggling in life. I can use some additional spiritual growth and connection with Christ, but I am also super lost with what my life purpose is. Your video was deeply needed. God bless!
Great study video. Reading and studying for yourself is so important. This is a COMMITMENT, our relationship with God. Amen.
Wheww that silent treatment and shinning light on the spirit of offense hit Me lol 😆 Glory be to God amazing video!
Excellent timing. Thanks so much for this video !!
I have traumatic brain injury so it's hard for me to learn and concentrate 😭 I still know I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus finished work on the cross ❤️ and ✝️🛐 s

What an awesome video!! Backed by Scripture. Thank you!
This is awesome!
Thank you
I really am so happy I found this channel! This series is so enlightening, thank you Minister Allen Parr.
road to 1 million! continue to serve the Lord guys! Thank you Pastor Allen!
This was good pastor !! One of my favorites so far !!
Everyone does need to hear this video! I can finally know a little more about what is or how to a mature Christian!!
Thank you Allen for sharing your videos and teaching us in them!
I always ask the Holy Spirit to guide me in God's truth so I am not deceived. Especially when I'm listening to God's word being preached. I never focus on who's preaching but what is being said and if it aligns with God's word. I feel the Holy Spirit is God's truth and will enlighten me when something is not right. I used to be spiritually immature because you just described me with all 5 you listed. Literally. That list was the old me but now I see I'm becoming more spiritually mature because I don't feel the desire to do those things anymore thank God. Wow I was extremely confrontational and didn't even realize it til now.
The ministry and you are glowing. Keep it up.
Thank you ! I was wondering what was going on in my walk with Christ and this series gave me clarity in three areas in maturing my spiritual growth.
Great video! Good timing!
Great word!!! I needed this. Thanks for your obedience. God bless you, your family, and ministry! 🙏🏽❤️😇
I am glad to hear that! Thanks so much for watching, Warrior4Christ .
Thank you for the edification Pastor Allen, this got me all the way together 😅 but I seriously needed to hear this and I'm sure many others as well. God bless you and your family and ministry 🙏🏽
Thank you. I have not been a spiritually mature Christian and really needed to see this. Now I know what needs to be done. Thanks.
Thanks so much for sharing. I have really enjoyed it
Awesome. Convicting. Encouraging!
Great Teaching Allen. HalleluJah!
Just got through reading 1 &2 Clement along with the corinthian epistles. You covered the issues very well in this video with application and encouragement to examine our life.
Bless you brother Allen! Thank you for sharing this with us, this is truly life-changing! 😀
Great teaching
Excellent video.
Awesome video! Definitely learned a lot about my own Spiritual health! Sharing this with others 🙏🏼🔥
When I see Christians argue with each other and throwing around their pride is a true definition of spiritual immaturity. Lack of proper discernment and Pharisee behavior is another prime example. I see a lot of this across social media platforms. Which is why it’s so important to study the word, understanding scriptures and how to apply it to your own Christian walk. Good stuff Allen thank you!

Thank you, brother Allen for this convicting message. God Bless!
Solid teaching on this topic. Got reminded of a few things 😃 Thanks Allen!
Thank you brother Parr i really needed to hear this.
This is convicting and spurs on growth. Thank you Pastor Allen. We need to pray for each other and set our eyes on Christ our Redeemer.
Wow! The list on spiritual immaturity was an eye opener! So tough to do these especially in our times. May God help us 🙏
Brother Allen, sometimes you tell the truth so boldly that I’m ready to reach through the screen and fight you 😂😂😂
God bless you! This really is a great video to help brothers and sisters in Christ evaluate ourselves.
The Lord has definitely grown me into learning how to digest the truth, but that doesn’t make it any easier because it still cuts. It is what it is.
Same cause my eyes have been opened 😩

Thank you for videos like this brother to help the body see where we are in our level of faith. I know I can be better at spending more time reading God’s word and this helps to see where I’m at. God’s blessings for your ministry always
Thank the Lord for sending this today. Glory be to the Most High for giving you this message to give to me.

Binge watching your old videos, the quality difference is incredible 👏 🙌
Isn’t it? And we have plans to make them even better! You’ll see it improve even from here both in quality and content!
EXCELLENT breakdown. This will come in so handy for discipleship. ❤
I can truly say I have a lot of work to do and thank you Paster
Just yesterday, I was thinking about my walk. I was unsure if I’ve been on the right track, but then I looked at my life. I’ve changed so much and I’ve never been the person I am now. My faith is in God more than ever and I find myself constantly thinking about Him and what He would want from me in that moment. I go to Him for all things now and I repent more quickly than I ever did in the past. I became a mom this year and I’ve suffered deeply with postpartum depression from hormones, isolation, and my physical health declining, but I thank the Lord because my suffering has changed my heart. The moment I realized that I was praising Him for my pain and suffering, I knew that I’ve been changed for good. I came to Christ when I was 18 and it was an unsteady journey. He’s blessing my entire house, as even my husband is growing. I still struggle, but I’m better than ever all thanks to Jesus!
I’ve seen my own growth from a baby Christian to one who hungers for the Word and seeks it daily. But I still pray for discernment and wisdom and want more, am working for more.
Oh meeen!!!!! I didn’t know I was sooo spiritually immature - thank you for this video and shedding some light on some of these things! ❤
Hey Allen? I must admit...This is one of the best video if not the BEST I've watched so far from your channel. It's beautiful and got so much truth and information in it!💯👏
