Great job. There are loads of beautiful young girls on youtube doing great makeup tutorials but they dont address the problems of the rest of us mere mortals. Thorough and straight to the point. They also tend to waffle on and on!!

Her eyes are the closest to my eye shape that I've seen in any video, (and the really big forehead I also have) I really learned a lot about how to deal with them! No UA-cam guru has eyes like we do, they simply aren't the best for a variety of eye makeup looks so it's awesome to see this. She looks awesome

@@emilylane8336 this is not deep set eyes , Why it's not deep set because upper eye lid is all visible when she open eyes .

I'd like to see this demo on an OLDER eye, one with a crepey skin. These may be deeper set eyes, but she still has a good depth of SMOOTH eyelid skin to work on.....

That was perfect! As a deep eyed girl, let me just say it is a little difficult sometimes to apply eye shadow especially if there is no previous make up experience. My eyes would always look too big or weird whenever I applied eyeshadow but with the help of Robert's technique on applying eyeshadow with big deep set eyes well, I think I will start some practice :)
Just what I needed to see. I tried over and over to do smokey and was never satisfied. Now I know why!!! Thank you so much.
I think its very 90's looking with the white on the lid and purple in the globe line, combined with pink lipgloss.. I think a more sun kissed look with a bit of a glow and earthy tones would have suited her better. Nothing wrong with the technique though.

This is the only video that I have completely understood what to do with my deep set eyes. I had just given up on them.
Great tutorial. I find that concealer creases into my crepe eyelids tho, so this is not for older, mature skin.

Okay, your videos are amazing, goes without saying. However, what is so awesome about you is you are so available to take your time and TEACH techniques, color theory,applications, etc. This model is beautiful and lucky to be one of your guest. When are you going to explain and teach how to work with mature hooded eyes? Please?

The tip for which type of false lash will accent (but not close off) deep set eyes was SO helpful!! I'd never heard that. Also the detail lash curler. Its always been a struggle to get a full lash curler in far enough. TYVM!!!

I was looking for something easier/simpler, but gosh...what a great work.
Very pretty look. Purple seems to flatter so many different eye colors, doesn't it. I have brown eyes and when I want to have a pop of color (instead of my go-to taupe or brown) I seem to go for purple. And one critique, seriously with the squeaky door? If your staff know you're filming, they might not want to walk in and out so many times!! But another great video!

i personally think that if you like how a dark smokey eye looks on deep set eyes then go for it! I know I do. beautiful look though! nice and clean and perfect. I love these tutorials, thanks for sharing
I feel like contouring the nose all the way up to the eyebrows can really make a deep set eyes look deeper. My eyes are deep set and I have to be really careful when contouring on my nose. I also have a quite prominent bridge of my nose. It is very thin but very "dimensional". I just thought it curious to see he was contouring like that with what he considered to be deep set eyes.
upcyclesarah she has deep set protruding eye which is different than a standard deep set. When you close your eye does your brow bone stick out farther than the front of your eye ball? Or does the eyeball stick out farther than your brow bone? If your brow sticks out further you have deep set if your eye ball sticks out farther you have deep set protruding which looks like deep set from the front but prominent from the side.

I have deep set eyes but this girl has such huge fantastic ones. I liked your work at every stage,especially just before you added the false lashes because it looked more natural for daytime.

I admit that I really sulk every day when I look at the mirror. Deepset eyes alone won't be a big problem in getting the right makeup look, but I have hooded eye lids and dark circles to add the glory. Could you please make some video for girls like me who are blessed with such dull eyes?

I wish I had a lot of space on my eyelids like her-I love the look here, it's just gorgeous, but my eyes wouldn't do it justice because when my eyes are open, you can barely see any of the eyelid.

So beautiful, I need advice for my eyes I have really deep set eyes with certain eye shadows like dark blue colors like that black anyways they make my eyes look more really sunken in hate that I love eye shadow omg any suggestions???PLEASE SEE. THANK YOU
Holy Large Lids Batman! I have small lids and deeply set eyes :-( but I did learn that I should put my neutral shade Above the Crease, rather than IN the crease, so I'll try that.
Lisa Rose Sounds like you are describing hooded eyes, sometimes called "bedroom eyes" which are not deep set but there is not much lid space so yes ma'am you are correct in saying your darker "crease" color should actually come above the crease. Still leave a small space for highlighting the brow bone!
P.S. I also have hooded eyes with a very small amount of lid space. As a result I also have to watch how I apply upper liner. I can't do a thick winged liner like some bc I don't have the lid space to support it & still have my lid eyeshadow color show.

Hey! Thanks for the tutorial. I love that you dared to use a colour as well as go for full drama! Deep set eyes are so difficult sometimes :p as well, I would absolutely adore if you did a tutorial for the audrey hepburn look you alluded to on her :)
