- Onze ambassadeur Sean Dhondt kreeg van Q-Music de kans om niemand minder dan Chris Martin van Coldplay te interviewen! Net als Sean, heeft Chris Martin ook tinnitus. Uiteraard hadden ze het dan ook even over hun ervaringen met oorsuizen.

5 months in and I've learned to just get on with life. I have a high pitched tone. I went went potty at first. Then adjusted through mindfulness - relaxing - I forget its there at times

its very hard to live with very hard sometimes I wish the whole worldwould go away
peter cobden hang in there have faith. I went with it for 5 months it was bad you just have relax and watch what you eat and don’t stress out much it will go away. I got mine from shooting guns without ear plugs it was the worst. But mine went away thank God just have to have patience and don’t stress out.

Ginkgo does not work... so don't waste your money. Acceptance and minimizing stress is your best way. And it generally improves with time.
Actually it tends to get worse with time, it objectively gets worse. But people get to habituate

God. deliver as people from this torment. causes men to discover cure for deafness and tinnitus. It's a lot of suffering.
My tinnitus has been installed in a club when i was cold and immune system was down.... . I went to the specialist and made special ear-plugs (with filter) for louder noise, music ! I wear them when I go to the club or in noisy places ... NOT HEALING, but it does not even get worse....I recommend to all teenage children who are in contact with hard music....peace to all !

So what are the custom-made ear plugs Chris Martin was referring to? Also I agree with others, Ginkgo Biloba does jack shit for tinnitus, unless the root cause is poor blood circulation, which it almost NEVER is.
Anyone tried the herb and it did really help?
Anyone know the name of the earplugs he uses? I've had tinnitus for just over 2 years now and all though I have learnt to deal with it being able to make it slightly quieter and be able to live a more normal life would be amazing

Please, can you tell me which ear-plugs you talking about? is it helping to the tinnitus? do you use this in "normal" live ? or only when you make music?
I try to accept my tinnitus, but its very hard for me. I'm also try the ginkgo biloba ,.. was it helping you?
These are moulded In-ear monitors (IEMs) that all musicians use when performing live, They are quite expensive as they are tailored to the individual. These are not to help tinnitus as such but are a musicians aid to tweak the levels of each instrument and so effect how the band hear themselves. The sound at a concert sounds very different onstage than it does to the audience so IEMs help this. You could obtain something similar from your hospitals hearing department but these will have limited but still effective controlability. A more affordable option is some ear plugs that you can get for listening to music or even those used by pilots as they need to hear talking and cockpit noise but need the engine muting somewhat. With earplugs I#d say do your research as to which brands people in the music industry prefer, they are the experts in this area as they also need clarity of hearing.

here's several suggestions for curing tinnitus
Ensure you consume enough fruit and vegetables.
Take vitamin C
Use herbs which cleanse the body including dandelion
Use herbs with infection fighting properties including dandelion root and burdock and others including huang qi
(I learned these and why they work from Dajon ear relief site )
You can get custom molded earplugs, which are not in-ear monitors, that have filters which attenuates loud sounds. I hear they are great for musicsians and for concerts, because they dont take away frequencies you wanna hear.
The ones I've found are called ACS custom molded earplugs. Im keen on testing them.

If you use earplugs the tinnitus gets worse as an echo chamber is created

Studies have shown that Ginkgo Biloba doesn't help reduce tinnitus so he doesn't know what he's talking about. He probably habituated to his tinnitus which isn't reactive form or very loud & possibly only in one ear.
