23 years later, and still one of my favourite albums from start to finish. They deserved to be bigger than they were. I owned the 18x24 black & white logo poster, dual-sided tshirt with NO ONE on the front and spiked man on the back, the self-released DVD Bring That Shit and of course their album. I actually emailed Billy K back in 2001 when I was a desperate teenager who wanted to fit in at high school to ask him advice, and of course to play at our high school end of year party. Not knowing how the world worked of course the answer was thanks but no thanks. But we sent messages for a few months checking up on me. Really nice guy all around. I'm 41 now, so they got to be in their 50s by now. Damn time flies.
Saw them open for slipknot on the pledge of allegiance tour in 2001. This album is amazing. RIP to both giitarist Bob and bassist Mike. I still jam their music to the day.
@@ExtremeCharisma They released one album in 2001 that sold poorly, broke up, reunited around 2010 and played a few shows but released no new music. One member died in 2014, another in 2019. That pretty much sums it up.
My old band was lucky enough to open for them by complete accident way back when they first turned up. I've loved them ever since. Great guys & killers on stage. Always wondered why they never got bigger than they did.
This is the only physical CD I still own. Saw these guys at some shitty venue in Chicago Heights I believe and fell in love. Bought the CD and to this day it slaps from start to finish. Every so often Id check back in to see what they were up to and was always disappointed they never got bigger. They are, imo, at least on par if not better than some of the big nu metal bands like MudVayne, Mushroomhead, StaticX, Powerman5000 and so on. I miss just getting lost in the pit and forgetting what year it was. At these shows it didnt matter who your parents supported politically, what color you were, nothing...just that you were there together letting go of everything. Hundreds of strangers sharing a moment in time that would last forever in the minds of any one of a thousand goth kids and metalheads alike without any of them knowing. It didnt matter. None of it did. That was the point.
Discovered these guys through an mTV showing of Chemical. Picked up their album, then they were at an autograph signing at F.Y.E. in Colonie, New York with Rammstein and American Head Charge. Slipknot was also supposed to be present but cancelled. Got a promotional VHS of Chemical, the band signed it, and even signed a dollar bill, crossing out the eyes of George Washingtons face. Got some photos of this whole thing somewhere. The F.Y.E. during this time was massive, front to back, CDs, movies, band merch, an arcade, just mind blowing for me, today the same store is now a single small space with just random pop culture crap. Those were simple times and I miss them, but I fucking loved living every minute of it.

RIP B-Larz p.s. thanks for posting, Bruce
Very sad indeed. There is a memorial bench set up at Lake Catherine in Memory of B-Larz and Vee. Check it out if you are ever in the area...

No One is one of Chicagos originals.
Great, underrated band that unfortunately went under the radar
I am still friends with lead singer Rick Murk. He has a band named Steel Harbor Blues Invasion that plays in NW Indiana. Check them out if you can!
@@brucecharles8603 Next time you talk to him tell him he has a fan as far away as Armenia.
