Just got this for Xmas, only complaint is the delay, especially with the flash and face detect flash activated. It's more for posed shots like at a party or something. I've tried relentlessly and it just doesn't fire off fast enough to get decent candid shots with any flash activated. Without? Still not quick, but much quicker.

Ima need Fujifilm to drop this, but either in the Square or Wide format. Currently using a Lomography Instant Wide, but the capabilities of this one are way too good lol.

Thanks for the review. I'm looking at an instax printer for a upcoming trip. This seems close enough in price that it's worth it to add the "free" camera just in case. I'm just not sure on size -vs- the wide or square options? I also really wish it was USB-c. If this was a wide format printer/camera AND usb-c I'd be instasold....

prints in about 20-30 seconds, then around 2-3 minutes for the image to appear

I'm not entirely sure but you should be able too. You can put the SD card onto computer and do it that way so in theory It should work on android too.

Can you re-connect a phone you accidentally deleted in the 'Delete Pairing Reg' selection? I am struggling to connect my phone again. I have tried restarting both my phone and camera, updated my phones software, and deleted and redownloaded the instax evo app.
yeah you should be able too, forget the Mini evo from your bluetooth devices on the phone, then in the mini evo menu start the bluetooth process again.
Had me hooked right up until "you can only send photos that you've printed". That's pretty disappointing. Is it that way for any photos or can you pull them off the sd card?
Yeah you can still transfer the old school way but there won’t be any filters or effects on them

I received a Mini Evo as a gift and mine is USB-C. Is this a new feature?
You can send pictures from the sd card using a card reader. It wouldn't have the border.

Yeah, if you connect the SD card to your computer you can move all the photos over

Remove the pairing on your phone, turn on and hold the button, it should enter pairing mode

both cool options, I find the Instax prints to be better than polaroid

I own this camera. It costs $300+ today. Overpriced cheaply built garbage. Go with analog Instax Square to get that actual Polaroid experience. Don't buy this.
