- A quick overview and demo of Frap Tools Brenso. This is a complex oscillator with almost limitless tones. I barely even scratch the surface of this module. I will be doing other videos on it once I learn and practice with it more.

sounds so good!
Haven't seen too many videos of the Brenso in the wild, hope to get more of these.
I will be posting more I haven’t had much time to dive in, but it’s coming!
Thank you! Very similar taste in sound to me, currently planning a Brenso/Zero Point Oscillator rack :) Sounds great
I got both and plan on posting a video of them frequency modulating each other! I really really love the Zpo. it’s a more user friendly oscillator for sure but they are completely different from each other obviously.
Good stuff, that looks a cool module. (new sub)
this is great i was just looking at frap stuff but cannot afford just seems insane quality
Easily the most quality module I’ve used. The knobs and feel of it are light years ahead of any other company out there.
Subbed- nice walk through and patch demo. Trying to decide between Brenso, Instruo and Verbos- tough decision! Also looking at Rossum Trident.
Thank you! I have not used either of the others you mentioned, but I will say Brenso is the nicest module I have in my case. The quality of the build and sound is just the best around.
I chose Brenso over cs-L should have it this week. Super excited, I would like to add instruo’s single through zero module at some point
I’m completely new to modular and the Brenso. I can’t tell where the GATE input goes, could you help me out? Thanks : )
There isn’t a gate input per say. What are you trying to do?
You remind me of Nick Shoulders a bit. It’s a compliment)
How are you liking the Brenso after a year of owning it?
To be honest I don’t use other than sound design. I don’t use it for Melodie’s or base lines just strange weird stuff haha
Nice. What’s doing the drums?
I’m not 100 percent on the snare but I know the kick is BIA. Snare is most likely a sample from squid salmple or I used some noise, sorry I can’t remember.
@@Derrick_Evans BIA?
Noise engineering Basimilus iteritas alter . Check out my page I posted a whole overview on it a couple weeks ago. Makes any drum sounds you need
@@Derrick_Evans You ever try any other complex oscillators? If so, how does it sound to the others? Seems like it sounds polished...reminds me of Cs_L but hard to tell through YouBoobs.
@@willhurt3446 lol I hear ya there everything I upload into UA-cam looks and sounds like shit to me compared to before rendering. This is one of the first videos I did so I wasn’t aware of lufs yet and this audio could have been compressed a lot. Anyways, no I haven’t tried any others. This was my first complex oscillator. I will say compared to any other oscillator I have the tone in general is just different. All my standard oscillators sound very similar, but this has its own sound.
jesus christ those gulps. please fix that in the future. great overview though. gotta have this thing
I assume your saying when I go to speak maybe my mouth was a little dry like two times?? I’ll try to stay hydrated for you lol
I just realized this was when I had a lavaliere mic picking up everything. Got a new mic 👍
@@Derrick_Evans thank you king
