Made a drum loop using BIA and ran it through Mimeophon and Beads. Would like to chop this up later and make something out of it.
Soundscapes with Qubit Aurora

Qubit sent me this module to make a video. They did not sponsor this video or have any say. It is a sound demo only with no overview what so ever. I really enjoyed this module and had lots of inspiration from it. Thank you Qubit! ua-cam.com/video/zG_T-yxjmtk/v-deo.html

Function generator's are boring yet complex! (Contour One, Joranalogue)

This is a very short not in depth look at functions generators. I started this video awhile ago and had some home renovation done so the studio was out of commission. There are many many other things that can be done with these awesome modules that I shall cover on future videos.

Basimilus Iteritas Alter overview (BIA)
I love mine (it was my first Xaoc module), but I’d never thought of self-patching it. Another week of exploratory fun awaits!
it´s an amazing pedal.. much much more versatile that I though when I bought it. thank you for sharing your tips and knowledge and making this video
there is just something, impossible to change the pitch of the sound sources :/
Wow this was a great vid. Question: what is the beautiful sequencer?
sounds great ! would have been interesting to ear the initial drum loop but anyway i like that ! cheers 🍻
Are those birds from Kaua’i ???
No just some samples I found online from like a doc or something
Just now been diving into Beads after my system was mothballed for almost three years (house renovation, don’t ask 😮) I also have an original Clouds which I still love so won’t be getting rid of it. Excellent patch examples and interesting sounds, very nice presentation too, as others have mentioned, so thank you for the clear and concise deep dive. Subbed. 👍🏼🙂
Wanted to listen to this again but forgot it was Tim Dillon so I just spent like ten minutes searching for “Alex Jones Modular” “Alex Jones Eurorack” “Alex Jones Morphagene” which was probably rly confusing for UA-cam
lol this is a very niche topic. Conspiracy theorists and modular confuse the algorithms.
Thats the most civilized use of these modules i have seen (and done).
This is a very very very nice way of making videos! Thank you for that!
Great video, simple and to the point
the visitor from fortnite in 2018:
is there anyway to step through shapes with an external trigger? and if so, pick the order of the shapes sequenced? thanks, great video!
That patch #3 dumpster trash sound is really what I'm looking for? Do you still remember what module/s to feed the Interstellar Radio?
I watched more than 5 seconds of this.
bro likes to touch all the nipples
shit is this the guy i punched at knobcon 2023?
So much better than DivKids plethora of endless commercials infested vid
Hi there! Thanks for sharing first of all, it really helps. May I ask if when Cascade is waiting for a gate to trig the envelope, you can still here your audio source on the vca out?
This is art
does interstellar radio really talk to aliens?
Do you have clouds or do you use VCV? Wondering whether you have compared Aurora to spectral madness or Kammerl spectral clouds?
I don’t use vcv and yes I have used clouds and beads
@@Derrick_Evans clouds has two spectral modes and I'm wondering if you have any thoughts on the similarities and differences between them and Aurora.
This is the clearest and most helpful zadar video I’ve seen (I’m waiting for mine to show up Thursday) a thank you x1000
i like the sound you present at approx. minute 12‘. can you remember the signal flow of it?
Zaydar? Wtf US idiots
I would only have 11 hp left on make noise black and gold. Think this is the best complimentary module for that system ?
Hey man could you tell me what attenuator and inout modules you have i didnt hear you say what they were. I am trying to build a very similar rack for my electric guitar and fx pedals. Thanks man. Im subscribed now awesome stuff
Thanks I appreciate it! I have the intelijel 1u modules for that. Quadrax and the input, output modules as well. I also use a instrument interface input from befaco for my guitar and mics.
@@Derrick_Evans nice thats exactly what i am going to go for love your setup!
Good one
Looks like you can run a stereotrack trough it??
not sure i like it
I’m completely new to modular and the Brenso. I can’t tell where the GATE input goes, could you help me out? Thanks : )
There isn’t a gate input per say. What are you trying to do?
SCHLAPP DA BÄÄZ 🥰
Inspiring! I'm on the same journey myself. I'm basing my rig around Instruo Arbhar and Qu-bit Nebulae to create ambient backing soundscapes that I can improvise over.
Thank you! I basically do that with the morphagene and beads. Create a background texture and plays some licks over it
Thank you! This is indeed a super helpful "overview"... or more something like a comprehensive manual. Good job.
Thank you!
Very impressive, man❤. Love that patch with maths.
Nice job, another module to add to my list.
that's probably one of my favorite songs on earth, that was absolutely beautiful
I love the thumbnail!
I assume most people who come here are schlappi psychos like me... this is an excellent example of use and is well assembled and isn't just four on the floor thanks my man you made My day ,seriously great work..
Thank you I really appreciate that comment very nice of you!
I love this video! ❤️
What VCA is that ?.
hey thanks for this, a question: when i use shape A1 (attack near or 0 ms) i hear audio clipping no matter what the sound source is. Any clue on why this might be happening? Thanks
Most likely you need to turn down the voltage of the envelope. Try putting it to 5v your vca or whatever your modulating might only take 0-5v. I can’t remember the A1 envelope but if it’s a fast attack that can cause clipping.
@@Derrick_Evans ty sr! : )
Really cool demonstration. Thanks for sharing!
Ooft, that second pad is 🔥
Beautiful stuff man!!
Please drink some water before talking into a microphone ..
Thanks for the advice on one of my first videos with a voice over 🫡
No analog sounds here 😖
And?
okay... great module (obviously). but this is a really great demo as well. & when you drop those drums against that little patch at 6:33... oh, my heavens!! lovely stuff. bravo!!
Thank you!
Great demo
Hey! Really interesting video, I finally started Modular in hardware a few weeks ago, it’s way more addictive than software I believe. Anyway I found your video very well made with nice ways to play around beads, will definitely try some stuff out there! As well I really loved your beat repeat mode, actually I really enjoyed the sound of the drum beat, what did you use for it? Thanks for your time and the sharing!
The drums were BIA as the kick and Plaits for the snare hi hat stuff. The wompy sounds was a neuro bass sound design I did in ableton and put into my morphagene to sample. That was pretty much it.
@@Derrick_Evans thanks for the informations, again, great work here!
Thank you appreciate it!
