I originally thought this wasn’t possible, but I’m surprised that Switch emulation is now possible on a Mac, back then I wasn’t able to play Wii U and Switch games on my Mac, but now with Cemu and Ryujinx being usable, I can see improvements coming to these for plenty of games in the future
depends most of the games in switch are Made by different companies meaning some games will be compatible with the app while other might not, the Nintendo games such as BOFTW, Mario kart 8, etc will probably get improved in the future but other games such as the Witcher, doom, etc will still suffer because every company made the game differently
once the shader compilation issues get figured out I will absolutely be all over this lol

I have a late 2018 Mac Mini and I just recently discovered I could play Wii U games. Some can work perfectly like New Super Mario Bros, the HD versions of Zelda Windwaker and Twilight Princess, and Star Fox Zero. Some other games will load but they're massively slowed down. Breath of the Wild was one of those and I'm just amazed that it loaded and played despite the slow down. I can't even imagine what gaming will be like on one of the new Mac Minis. I'm so excited for the next time I upgrade!

i have been playing mario oddyssey with ryujinx and beyonetta 2 with cemu since i saw your videos and it has been a great experince i have played and complted zelda with cemu on windows here in india its pointless to buy a switch and i am very thankful to you though i own a playstation its funny that im still playing games on mac !

Could you make a tutorial on installing mods in games like Smash and Mario Kart? I’ve been having trouble with mods just not showing up or games crashing. It’s possible they just don’t work yet but there’s not enough documentation to make sure.

Mario Kart 8 runs perfectly on my MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro). 60fps throughout (unless there's shader compilation, which is not often now). Hypervisor is turned on.

I need an advice, base M2 chip Zelda BOTW 10 fps , DARC SOULS REMASTERED 10 fps did some can give a solution to increase fps or it’s just weak base cpu that cap’s productivity???

you could use crossover/parallels for nier considering it only requires like 2 gigs of ram

I have a problem when I play pokemon scarlet on macbook m1 pro, which is that the game freezes after playing the game for 30 minutes
How did you setup the motion control? I have the joycon with grip and I would use it... On my MacBook Pro M1 16gb Zelda works 30fps. It is playable with some graphic glitch and some deceleration because the shader cache is compiling.

what controller do you play with? in BOTW we have to use gyro if you use a ds4 you can use the gyro directly on the macbook or have to use config?
You can use DS4 however if you want to play BOTW I recommend Cemu.
does pico park work on m1 pro MacBook? if so using which emulator?

I have an Intel MacBook Pro 2019 with an i9 processor and 32 gigs of ram. I have follow all instructions to the letter and no matter the game I try on the emulator it keeps crashing! Is there something im missing here? Thank you in advance.
Yes you should just Boot Camp and run x86 Ryujinx the performance will be better on Intel Macs.

Suprising to see Mac getting support for Switch emu. Once Mac and Linux catch up with Windows in gaming, I'll probably never use Windows ever again.

Pro is better for games. I also personally like the touch bar that the pro has, I think it’s so cool. How much better for games? Well, they’re slightly more playable. Macs really aren’t gaming computers but definitely go for the Pro if your looking to emulate basic games
go with pro I have a M1 for college which is not bad and I can play some good decent amount of games but with the pro you can pretty much play more games and has better chip
On my Base M1 MK8 seems much more stable than you've shown, it's running just fine for me with 30FPS (besides shader cache stutters)

I also have a base M1 Macbook Air and it runs pretty well, not solid 60 but somewhere 45-60, sometimes even 75 with v-sync disabled
Maybe because he’s recording at the same time it lowers he’s fps. But maybe it’s all about the setting.

Anyone know why 80% of the games download with no sound? Check my mac's sound settings and everything is find on my end, changed up the audio settings in ryujinx and nothing. If anyone can give me some advice that would be awesome.
where do you download your games from? no sites I find seem legit
@@drewcon4t hmm so seems torrent downloading is 50/50 i redownloaded pokemon violet 3 times and now works perfectly i use nsw2u its the safest site just make sure to use a torrent

@@badgertech7054 Are you using an Intel Mac? If so I assume Citra is an x86 app natively. Which would not run natively on M1+ chips.

Turned macbook air m1 on today and ryujinx has reset itself. Asking for prod keys/firmware again, lost save files. Anyone know how to get those save files back?
Figured it out, Ryujinx started using /users//.config/ryujinx for whatever reason (possibly some conflict with the way mac os expects things to work?). I simply needed to take the ryujinx folder from /users/ and replace the above.

actually botw on cemu now runs pretty much perfectly! a lot of the bugs and the graphical glitches have been resolved in the latest builds

I've played Pokémon Sword on my M2 Air for 4hrs, and it runs great, but it freezes occasionally after long hours/minutes of gameplay.
