- So I took a break from carnival this year (I really needed it) and decided to go home and vacation in Nassau, Bahamas at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Resort & Baha Bay Waterpark. My first time go to Bahamas
I went there for spring break! So much fun! Just a little expensive lol
Yes it's definitely expensive; more so during spring break. If you go again try to go in the summer time during low season or beginning of fall but just be wary its hurricane season around then so the weather can be unpredictable.
I just booked cruise for nexr spring break. Was definitely pricy but only time i could find a week off work plus school. Cant wait!

great video, is the food expensive? I have only been to all inclusive resorts, so I'm trying to figure out about how much a day I would need for food.
The food was relatively expensive depending on which restaurant you ate at. I’d only gone for two nights so we tried Marcus At Baha Mar and in my opinion it wasn’t bad; it’s just the value added tax that definitely makes a difference but that’s every where on the island

Hey so im set to go next march. So i assume u went this past March? How was the weather? And the temp of the water?
@dreawint I went March 2022. The temp of the water was pretty chilly but not horrible. California water is way colder if you've been there. The weather is mild though. Not too hot but there were a couple chilly evenings with the wind.
@@Onniesprairiegarden Thanks so much for responding! And darn, I didnt know. I have heard that you can also cruise in December (which in the states is obviouisly cold since it's winter), so you would think that if cruises like this are "doable' in Dec/Jan" it must not be ridiculously cold such that several months later into end of March it's gotta be better. WEll, I'm already booked (next available week off school for my new teen) so I will hope for the best but defintely now bring some sweaters, etc. for evenings! But we better get at least some decent pool/beach/dolphin swim action without freezing our balls off!
Hello, I know this video was 8 months ago but I’m going to the Bahamas for the first time next month but will be staying at an Airbnb. What places would you recommend to visit and what transportation did you use throughout your trip?
Hi Aicha. No worries. Anytime I book an Airbnb I book along West Bay Street or close to a beach (Orange Hill Beach or Nirvana Beach) - for transport I have family members and my significant other who help me out with that. I am looking to go to the Bahamas this summer and was looking to find out the best place to go to party. What the best club, not a place filled with tourist, something local and lit.
So you can probably follow some local entertainers/promoters on IG like instagram.com/litevibes? and instagram.com/ovadose? and @guidancemike , @djbraahvo because I can’t recall specific events and they’re just now easing back into having more local events, clubs open - but those accounts would post flyers for upcoming events or spots you can look into on Instagram

No it’s not. They give complimentary unlimited access to the water park and there are seasonal special offers on rooms/food credits but it’s not an all inclusive

Yes it’s at the resort close to the beach
Question did you go out from the resort if so where?

Wait, you had to pay to get into the water park?
If you are a guest at Baha Mar, entry into the water park is free. If not you have to purchase a day pass.

Hey they didn’t. We tested prior to traveling to the Bahamas (PcR test within 5 days of travel) - if you’re vaccinated when you get to the hotel you just check in but if not vaccinated they do have testing on site - also check out their Travel With confidence program here: bahamar.com/travel-with-confidence/
