Thanks for taking the time to make this! Such a well made video with a lot of good info I never knew about. Cant wait for the the next one! (Or anything else Mission Hill or cky related)
Mission Hill I kinda got everything covered in the first video, although its one of my earlier videos and looking back I could have done better. But either way I have so much to do revists are lowest priority i'll probably be starting up the Jackass shit again before spring is over so stay tuned!
Tpb was ridiculously iconic in its time,j-roc cracks me up to this day, another canadian series i got oddly hooked on for a while (first saw it while on holiday in canada) is corner gas,i don't know how well regarded it is in it's native land, and i know it's more standard sitcom fair but i enjoyed it lol
TPB, alright. I saw It in college and I made it all the way to season 7 (Around 2012-13), but to me the quality went down after Ricky and Julian had that shoot out with those two (pseudo) Japanese dudes and Cyrus, I believe. After that, I still liked it, but the quality did get weaker. I seen a few clips of season 8-11, but by then I just lost interest. I also saw the movies, but only the ones that were there when the show was only 7 seasons. I don’t know if I would rewatch the show. I feel like I outgrew it. It does still has a special place in my heart, though. Good times. Also, what is the deal with Lahey? 😂
First few seasons are good and season 5 was actually supposed to be the last season hence the big shoot out. It was originally written to have Ricky die of the heart attack and Julian was finally gonna leave the trailer park
For Me the Golden Era is also Seasons 1-5, 1999 film and 2004 Christmas special. I wasn't a big fan of S6 and 7 and also wasn't a fan of the teathrical films. And I haven't watched the Netflix content and don't plan to.
Actually the one that started it all with them and Clattenburg was One Last Shot in 1998. Cart Boy was actually a very early 2000. This 1995 imdb year date is wrong and there is an interesting story as to why. It is in the Oral History as to why. But there is an even more in depth look into it in a Jeremy Hart the editor on some audio podcast. Basically Clattenburg lied to Showcase about the year and told them it was 1995. I'll let you read it yourself first in the Oral History Of TPB.
@@generationwhyentertainment2455 oh I know. I was just commenting on the part where you said that Cart Boy started it all. But I was juat stating it wss actually the 3rd collaboration. It came after 1999's Trailer Park Boys. The TPB Oral History in their own words will explain why. I didn't want to ruin it for you.
this is a really unique channel with an aura of classic UA-cam, my content is actually quite similar since I cover esoteric films and such, I admire your work man, keep it up :)
Cool video, I also discovered this show with my dad. This might go without saying , but fuck it. Trailer park boys is so many levels above Kenny vs. Spenny. That show sucked.
I’d have to disagree with you on Kenny vs Spenny sucking. I rather enjoyed it for what it was but trailer park boys was great until they brought it back on Netflix
Seasons 1 thru 7,were the absolute best
Thank you for acknowledging that the netflix seasons SUCK, because they DO.
Nice Synopsis ! Cheers from Spokane W.A / U.S.A Bud!
I was crying laughing when he threw the gun and shot the boom guy
Terrance, & Phillip irl, mothers against Canada is gonna start a war, & they’re gonna crucify Ricky, & Julian. 😂😂😂
wow.. Mike Day really is such a beautiful touching song, I might have to use it for a Trailer Park Boys tribute

I first watched this back in 2020 and I hardly remember anything from it so this'll be a great refresher :)
Still quote the boys to this day. Thanks for the upload,🤘
Glad you enjoyed it. Like and Subscribe ❤️

I mean I didn’t care for corner gas it was too folksy Canadian for me but it had a big fanbase

Makes a lot more sense. But that money cow has to be milked.
your not alone man, trailer park boys died after the 7 seasons and films.

@@dgxkeyboards4535 yeah I partially agree.
