It was great until that skeleton at the end, I was like really, is that it? I also wonder what her intentions were, she waiting for him to get there and then decides to burn her whole house down and just stands where while he runs off. I thought it was Skeletor from He-Man at first:)
INFERNO is my favorite Argento film. And I love Keith Emerson's score, though it is NOTHING like the Goblin score for SUSPIRIA. The three mothers' names are Latin: Mater Suspiriorum (Mother of Sighs), Mater Lachrymarum (Mother of Tears), and INFERNO's villain, Mater Tenebrarum (Mother of Darkness). I see your take on the end is the same as mine -- Mater Tenebrarum wasn't destroyed in the flames, she was reveling in them. I know people who believe the opposite. However, that dude does not "just walk away". He's fleeing at supersonic velocity. And it may not do him any good -- you can dodge Death, but ultimately you lose that game. And cats are good. "For the cat is cryptic, and close to strange things that men cannot see."
Good follow up to Suspiria but unfortunately not as good as its great predecessor. The colours & set pieces in this film are absolutely magnificent though.
I like this film. Death is beautiful. And it looks like I noticed in it the mother from the next movie.I really like the music of the movie. When it should be quiet, and then at the right time loudly.End liked it. He does not leave positive emotions. And by tradition, I apologize for my English.)
Style over substance certainly, but what style! Despite its faults Inferno still remains a truly haunting and darn scary viewing experience. Most regard his best film as the 1976 supernatural slasher movie "Suspiria", while certainly an effective and masterful genre film and I do LOVE it..❤ I much prefer Inferno.(shocking huh?)😳 In Inferno Argento continues on the same supernatural, satanist, slasher angle he explored in Suspiria. Only this time round his narrative is much better realized I feel. His trademark murder scenes are still as large as life (and just as ugly) but they are far more effective in this film with its chilling gothic atmosphere, awesome score by Keith Emerson, nightmarish color schemes, and festering sense of evil and dread and truly breath-taking visual style. I have yet to pick up the Blu rays for Inferno and Suspiria but I intend to very soon!! I LOVE that you are an animal lover as well ❤❤ Thumbs Up Jason 😎👍
I made it through 4:30 of your review. Your droning/ monotone voice & cadence is more torture than D' Argento's characters receive in this film. Please never give another review or talk again. I'm horrified.
Great vid my man Can’t wait until you review tenabre!! Such a good movie!

You're right Gabriele Lavia who was in Deep Red, is also in this plus Sleepless (Non Ho Sonno). Man I love Inferno!
Now I finally know what Dylan thought of Inferno. I knew he would. RIP my friend. Great review Jason.
Argento is such a bad ass!

Much like Suspiria beautiful death scenes of 2 dimensional characters interwoven in a vague plotline.
