I have a question and I hope you can answer me back as soon as you read this, can and is it possible to plug in Xbox and a PlayStation into one elgato capture card?
I don't like the price tag, but I was already looking at a $140 HDMI splitter to passthrough 4k120hz on top of a $120 EVGA XR1 PRO anyway. So... Maybe this is worth it for simplicity.

Beware if you buy this thing... The usb c to usb c cable it comes with is only 3 feet long... The 8k HDMI cable is also only maybe 5 feet. Even more you need to spend on top of the $300 unless you have a VERY compact set up.
@@marcgil256 Be careful with the quality. I got one that seems to work at a 6 foot, but apparently these extreme speed cables can't exist at longer lengths (10+) without losing speed, which could render them useless.
I'm an Elgato fanboy, but I may have to get this instead of waiting for the 4k X and 4k Pro. I asked on the Elgato subreddit when we could expect them to drop and they were pretty tight-lipped. They did, however, say that Santa won't be bringing them this year, but to stay tuned. I just got a 4k144 monitor last week and want to take full advantage of what my Xbox Series X is capable of, and patience is not my strong suit 😂😭🙃

I would wait for either this capture to have full mac support or elgatos next capture card coming. If you won’t be playing in 4k 120 then get EVGA XR1 pro or HD60X

Hello, do you know if having this capture card will solve problem with obs stutter. I just have one pc and 4k tv with 120hz and vrr but my games runs at 90-100fps so when i record video on obs it makes video stuttering because of out of sync frames, but when i cap my games to 60fps I don't have video stutter anymore... I heard its VRR problem with obs...I want smooth video and want to play on more than 60fps but my videos to be 60 fps What should i do? How you manage to record 120 fps games without stutter? Thanks a lot in advance!
It sounds like this could be a VRR problem for sure. This capture card DOES support VRR which alleviates the screen tearing and stutters. For non VRR cards I just playing in either a solid 60 or 120 refresh rate.

So i got the capture card and the only problem i have is that rec central does not detect the card. I went thru a lot of settings and updates, but still doesn't detect the card.

The longer it's used the longer the delay becomes for certain things in game. However I never had this issue with elgath hd 60. Can you inform me on this?

TikTok stream key comes from TikTok support, you have to contract them to get it. They don’t always reply is the unfortunate thing. It’s pretty locked down. That’s why I recommend trying TikTok studio www.tiktok.com/studio/download

@@MysticFL1-Bethyou would need to switch the hdmi inputs via the cable. They can’t both feed through at the same time like that into a capture card.

I would love the option to stream 4k 60 or 120fps but I haven't got 16000+ bitrate upload speed, or a Nvidia RTX graphics card atm 😅

You can control the delay within whatever software you are using.

It’s personal preference tbh, it’s what you like the most. Most people usually go for more frames when gaming from my experience

You need a stream key for that. But you could try the app TikTok studio which is like their version of OBS
