Uh! Some suggestions for you: when you want to capture a pokemon without battling it, just press X button, you can switch between pokemons and tools (such as pokeballs and other useful stuff); if you throw your pokemon, you battle; if you throw a pokeball, you try to catch pokemons without a battle ;) And for mining, you just have to throw the pokemon against the rocks, like you do with berry-picking and trees.

Funny ya shared this…I to only recently started this game while I’m taking a short break from playing Scarlet version…it definitely is a unique take to the franchise…but at the same time it’s a cool concept to venture to the far past when Pokémon and human relations were more unknown and some undiscovered resulting in a variety of interactions with various speeches…like real life wildlife! Some Pokémon are scared of you and flee, some are more curious and at least try to interact…and others are huge threats that actually full on attack you. But so far i like it and the concept for the first ever Pokédex is kinda neat as well…lot of crafting tho which can’t be fun, but a tad excessive. None the less I can’t wait to explore the game further…I actually watched the mini prequel series to Arceus before starting on the official Pokémon YT page! 🙂
Hey Rain!! Idk if you decided on a team already. But there are a ton of awesome pokemon in this game. Would absolutely recommend getting the goomy line, they have a special hisui form in this game that absolutely carried my team! And the design is so damn adorable!
