Thank you for sharing this video. I started watching your videos a year ago when I was trying to decide if I wanted to go into medical coding. Now, I am in a program at my local technical college and I use your videos to preview and review units as we go along. The ICD Diagnosis Coding class I'm in now uses the same theory and practice book you recommended, so the content lines up very well with what I am learning in class. Thank you for all that you do!
I am confused as to why your coding the specific place of occurrence and activity and status when the notes do not specify those things? where are you getting the information from? Can you do a video where you are coding directly from the doctor's notes exactly what is written down, please? Thanks I love your videos and they are very helpful I am just confused on the external causes section.
This may be a crazy question, but on example 3 with place of occurrence.. driver (traffic) ( non-collision). How would it be football field? Is it because I’m looking at traffic?
