- Black soldier fly is around us, though noy avail in every palce even in tropical area as their native habitat.
This video still talkin about how to get the larvae/eggs from wild pooulation, poultry is one of potential place where usually easy to find black soldier fly.
Huge amount of manure is 'big attractant'. Come to this place and try to catch.
Starting black soldier fly cultivtion not always need to buy the eggs as a seed. We can try catching from wild bsf.

I watch your BSF videos a lot. They are very educative and inspirational. I have managed to get black soldier flies from a small local vegetable market and now I have prepupa. What I have noticed, but have not seen it in any videos be it from you or other videos is that the prepupa are shedding their skins just like snakes do. I wonder whether this is a normal experience? If not, what do you think is not right with my work?

Hello Sir Adi. Do you feed your chicken with pure BSF Larvae or you also use commercial feeds? If you are using commercial feeds mixed with BSF Larvae, can you give the right ratio or percentage of BSF Larvae to be used as substitute for the commercial feeds? Thank you Sir.

i remember that why BSF is choosen to be the best larva to be produce are because they got high protein with no risk of spreading disease to human.. the best solution with the thing is that another type of fly especially that "house fly" can spread pathogens to human, thats why in conventional farming they get rid of the poop imediately. i hope you concern about that

I am from India. I want to know how BSF useful in Comercial broiler Chickens. How to calculate the feeding formula BSF pupae to be fed till 42 days of Broilers.
If no BSF at that farm, hopefully you introduce them to the area.

Sometimes ya, but not much. Poultry is better population according to my experience, my first eggs 'catched' from final waste disposal...and for years spreaded already years to many farmers.

I had made a ciment platform for bsf, and the vegitable pieces that i put in are making liquid and some acid causing bsf dead. Can you advice how can i overcome this?
There's need for drainage. Drill holes to drain out leachate.. Also improves aeration for bigger bsf larva.
