    Dear Mohamed I would like a clarification regarding DMRS power boost. Is PUSCH DMRS Power boost enabled only with UL waveform DFT-S-OFDM or it is also enabled with CP-OFDM ? Thank you

      Hi George; DRMS multiplexing does not support DFTSOFDM as specified by 3GPP 38.212

      @@mohamedeladawiashour That's why I asked because I know both switches are on by default on the Huawei and I was curious if this gain was for Huawei or other vendors.

      As i know, This feature is available for all vendors especially for 4G and will be available for 5G and i am not sure what is the default settings for all the vendors and in all cases the main idea of the video is to deliver the concept in general.

    Very helpful Mohamed!! A 5g SA UE in good radio conditions that transmits PUSCH multiplexing with DMRS, can transmit 2 layers MIMO in uplink but in NSA the UE always transmits 1 data layer. Is it correct ?

      Thanks, Georgi. as i know most of the 5G NSA UE will probably have rank1 but it still can transmit 2 layers based on the UE Capability and i have confirmed this from some network KPIs but the ratio of rank2 was very less

      @@mohamedeladawiashour Thank you very much Mohamed for your prompt reply. Given that NSA Ue's transmitter shares its power between 4g and 5g it is reasonable to transmit mostly with rank 1.
