Pastor John! I also have a question on Galatians 2:21. Can you please provide with more understanding on verse 21? It looks like, we have the freedom to reject/void/nullify the grace of God. The Jewish majority rejected the grace of God. But the believers became beneficiaries of the grace of God by putting their faith in Christ. To receive the grace of God is a God given free gift to all of the mankind or only for the elect?

Is it correct if I say that, In the 17th verse Paul argues that, If Peter is justified by faith in Christ and according to the law when he sit with the gentiles to eat, he himself making him a sinner according to the law. In that case, is Christ a servant of sin by cunningly pushing people to become sinners according to the Mosaic law. Can this be the essence of that argument or am I wrong in my observation?

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified...... Whst works of the law was being talked about here. Is this passage doing away with the Ten commandment, the Royal law That God spoke, and wrote, and had placed in the Ark on which was His mercy seat, a copy of His throne in heaven from where He governs His universe. Is this verse telling us that God does not require us to keep the law, or that His law has been abolished?..... does sin still exist? If there is no law then there is nothing to break or to keep. But as we are still ask for forgiveness of our sins, the law must still exist. Paul spoke about the works of the law that made the the Jews feel justified, but he knowing Christ now counred as rubbish, to be discarded,...Php 3:4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Php 3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee. The Jews feel that they are justified with God because of the law of circumcision. And to become a Jew , one had to be. No one was allowed to enter the temple if they were not. hey believe and still do that their birth and circumcision ,made them righteous. Some early Christians who were Jews also believed this. and tried to get the Gentile Christians to circumcise themselves, which would negate their faith in Christ being the one that Justifies them. With the penalty of paid and their sins forgiven they were clean before God, and God was now able to live in them. To read Gal 2:16 out of the context of the chapter is to invite error in your understanding. Paul also mentioned in this verse " the faith of Jesus Christ" . Not faith in Jesus, but the faith OF Jesus. This faith the same Faith that Jesus allowed Him to do many good works. Like living a sinless life. If we are to be Jesus's disciples, how can we do that If we do not keep the 10 commandments as He did. We cannot be like him, we will be like the devil. The devil is lawless and he wants people to be like him so they will not inherit eternal life. Jesus will say this to those that are lawless....Mat_7:23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'. When Christ was asked about eternal life He said this.....Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, ..........but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Mat 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Mat 19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. . He quoted. He quoted 5 of the 10 commandments, the ones that pertain to our interaction with each other ending with loving our neighbour as ourselves. All the statutes about our interaction with each other are still in force, Because it is still not ok with God, for us to make fun of a deaf person, or put something in the way of a blind person to make them fall. It is still not ok to sleep with your mother or to rape. .....Rom_2:12 For as many as have(( sinned without law)) will also((perish without law)), and as many as have(( sinned in the law)) will be(( judged by the law))
I am a legalist. Meaning I believe one must keep the law, that is, obey the commandments to enter heaven. Saying that we must be justified by Christ is in of itself a law. That is, we are not saved by works but by faith in Jesus is strange because when the disciples asked Jesus what must we do to do the works of God. Jesus responded that this is the work of God, that you believe on the one he has sent. Thus, when Paul says we are not saved by works it seems people that that to mean we don't have to keep the law to be saved, but I think what Paul is saying is that salvation is a work of God not a work of man. You cannot work your way to heaven not because we cannot keep the law but because faith in God is solely a work of God. Yet justification is law keeping or rather God teaching us how to keep his laws. This is why Paul says the ungodly will not enter the kingdom of God. Breaking the law doesn't mean you lose your salvation, because you didn't begin nor will you finish the work of salvation. Most Christians believe we will be sinless in heaven. What is being sinless, prefect law keeping. Yet legalism is rejected

I am so sorry for your loss. It is heartbreaking and I cannot imagine what you are going through. I will pray for you to heal mentally and physically and to find comfort in your soul. Please trust in God and keep your faith. There are plans for you still on this earth. if you can trust, believe and persevere in this extremely difficult situation, God will open your heart and mind so you can see his plans. Lean into God, ask for help and open your heart and soul to receiving his love. I believe your heart will begin to feel lighter and you will begin to find the good around you during this crisis. I believe those we love who pass turn into our guardian angels. Open your heart for signs - they will come to you. I pray for you. I’m truly sorry for what you are going through. There are many things that people will never understand because God‘s plans are supernatural. We need to trust in him every step of the way. Since John the Baptist hae died before Jesus' resurrection so John was not able to witness what we know or trust in Jesus😊1st❤ so that's the one who least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he( John the Baptist) for John the Baptist didn't know what we know by faith in Jesus😊1st❤ our savior in Christ. Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified...... Whst works of the law was being talked about here. Is this passage doing away with the Ten commandment, the Royal law That God spoke, and wrote, and had placed in the Ark on which was His mercy seat, a copy of His throne in heaven from where He governs His universe. Is this verse telling us that God does not require us to keep the law, or that His law has been abolished?..... does sin still exist? If there is no law then there is nothing to break or to keep. But as we are still ask for forgiveness of our sins, the law must still exist. Paul spoke about the works of the law that made the the Jews feel justified, but he knowing Christ now counred as rubbish, to be discarded,...Php 3:4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
Php 3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee. The Jews feel that they are justified with God because of the law of circumcision. And to become a Jew , one had to be. No one was allowed to enter the temple if they were not. hey believe and still do that their birth and circumcision ,made them righteous. Some early Christians who were Jews also believed this. and tried to get the Gentile Christians to circumcise themselves, which would negate their faith in Christ being the one that Justifies them. With the penalty of paid and their sins forgiven they were clean before God, and God was now able to live in them. To read Gal 2:16 out of the context of the chapter is to invite error in your understanding. Paul also mentioned in this verse " the faith of Jesus Christ" . Not faith in Jesus, but the faith OF Jesus. This faith the same Faith that Jesus allowed Him to do many good works. Like living a sinless life. If we are to be Jesus's disciples, how can we do that If we do not keep the 10 commandments as He did. We cannot be like him, we will be like the devil. The devil is lawless and he wants people to be like him so they will not inherit eternal life. Jesus will say this to those that are lawless....Mat_7:23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'. When Christ was asked about eternal life He said this.....Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, ..........but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mat 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Mat 19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. . He quoted. He quoted 5 of the 10 commandments, the ones that pertain to our interaction with each other ending with loving our neighbour as ourselves. All the statutes about our interaction with each other are still in force, Because it is still not ok with God, for us to make fun of a deaf person, or put something in the way of a blind person to make them fall. It is still not ok to sleep with your mother or to rape. .....Rom_2:12 For as many as have(( sinned without law)) will also((perish without law)), and as many as have(( sinned in the law)) will be(( judged by the law))
I am a legalist. Meaning I believe one must keep the law, that is, obey the commandments to enter heaven. Saying that we must be justified by Christ is in of itself a law. That is, we are not saved by works but by faith in Jesus is strange because when the disciples asked Jesus what must we do to do the works of God. Jesus responded that this is the work of God, that you believe on the one he has sent. Thus, when Paul says we are not saved by works it seems people that that to mean we don't have to keep the law to be saved, but I think what Paul is saying is that salvation is a work of God not a work of man. You cannot work your way to heaven not because we cannot keep the law but because faith in God is solely a work of God. Yet justification is law keeping or rather God teaching us how to keep his laws. This is why Paul says the ungodly will not enter the kingdom of God. Breaking the law doesn't mean you lose your salvation, because you didn't begin nor will you finish the work of salvation. Most Christians believe we will be sinless in heaven. What is being sinless, prefect law keeping. Yet legalism is rejected
