This engine lineup is from (ex Mitsubishi) FUSO. We can see the predecessor 6D24 in FUSO lineup.
FUSO trucks are now coming under the ownership of Daimler AG.
The 6D26 engine in the BharatBenz 4832R truck is likely not a result of the Daimler-Cummins partnership. The partnership focuses on producing medium-duty engines for future models to meet Euro VII standards, and production is planned to start later in the decade. The 6D26 is a separate six-cylinder engine used in BharatBenz trucks, which is different from the engines Cummins will develop for Daimler. So, while Daimler and Cummins are working together, this specific engine doesn't seem to be from that collaboration. 🚒🚚🚛🚒🚚🚛
