I've started to just help random people do missions, as you mention, sometimes it helps me anyway, and it's a nice thing to do.
I play alone and it's nice when people just give me a hand with the ai or mission. I returned the favor today and sniped all the ai for a team going into a stronghold.

I agree with the boats, they are so underrated, in my opinion and especially playing solo they are one the safest ways to traverse the map
Me remembering the time we used a LTV to kill players in the ocean on a boat XD. Honestly though 99% of the time the water is very safe.
Got to watch out for the pesky attack bird haha it's hard to gun and drive the boat
@@Eastnasty07 that's when you start the contract, get the boat, cancel the contract. But then you're stuck being weighed down by the cargo
If you really need to refuel/repair a vehicle and the station is occupied, if you park in the station the vehicle will get done even if you aren't in it.

Also. Dock pumps for the boats that are attached to land, you just drive near it and it refills / repairs. They rarely if ever have humans or a.i. It's been a life saver numerous times for me.

My always loudout:
Spotter Scope, Throwing knife, Munitions Box
Find a medium backpack first
Then 2/3 armor plate vest
Then Self Res

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thought this. I was like the AI is like fucking Skynet now. They have eagle eye vision and it seems if you alert a group of AI in one area 2 miles away they magically KNOW you’re in the vicinity. I knew they probably upped the difficulty!

Another one I found out recently and didn’t get to try yet is refueling while driving. You can’t be in the drivers seat but if you have a fuel can in your squad the person with it should be a passenger so they can enter their backpack and use it when needed
Great tips I play solo somcant really use them all but I would strongly advise anyone playing solo to use a spotter scope instead of stims and find as many revive guns as you can in the medicine cabinets in toilet rooms. I am on tier 3 now playing solo and it has been the best fun and stressful times I have ever had on my playstation. Oh and don't forget the train is loaded with loot too, but dont do what I keep doing and that's getting killed by the train when I am desperate to get on it. Taking out AI from a distance helps a lot for me also.
If anyone hears a couple of guys laughing and running around without weapons and just punching AI to death then that's probably me lol. Been trying to challenge other players to boxing matches but so far no takers. Also does anyone know if a revive pistol will help a downed enemy player? Been trying to test the idea but haven't gotten a chance.
Tire 4 missions is a nightmare
Definitely realized the increase in AI difficulty because I was on the "don't nerf the AI" camp in the beginning but now Im in the "nerf the damn AI pls" camp.

Yeah solo is straight cock, going in with nothing and getting random headshotted by lone AI at 50 meters 3 minutes into the match is pretty frustrating.
Yep. I was pretty happy with the AI at first. But now it’s incredibly infuriating to go in as a solo and get melted by some random AI.
Ya just need them beaming you from a mile out 😂 How are they hitting me every shot when I cant even do that at that distance without a sniper.

The AI are on crack. They can shoot you while hidden from miles away and the RPG guy NEVER MISSES. None of them miss! And they thirst you too! I wouldn't be so angry but they need to control the spawns of AI tho, they spawn behind you, in rooms you've already cleared, on the roof of buildings, and they are bullet sponges. The armored guys take 4 sniper bullets to the head to kill! Thats WAY Too much. Thats most a clip to snipe one armored guy. I found that drill charges are the best when stuck in a building and they're rushing you. Just throw it on the wall and it'll blow everyone up outside.
Wait wait wait... you mean you should work as a team in DMZ. Not just charge headlong into the AI? Cam someone please tell the random guys I have been playing this. Please... my last game lasted 2 minutes before they were dropped by the AI.
Number 1 pro tip in my opinion is to use the hostage rescue contracts late game or if your far away from exfil. And you can exfil with the hostage at and it will be a lot less contested from other players since you have your own heli that comes to pick up the hostage and you can just hop in it as well

ALL TeamMates have to be close when opening the door, thats when the timer on the bomb goes on.

I purposefully pick up hostage contracts and cancel then have one of my team set up a nice tent at each exfil.
Except if you are playing with people who don't talk to each other and the first guy to reach the hostage building charges in and get whacked. Meanwhile you and the other team mate are still trying to get to the hostage building and the timer for the explosives are at the half way mark. You have to banzao charge into rooms to beat the time. End result shotgun blast to the face and your squad spend more time resurrecting and surviving than rescuing the hostage who then blows up BOOM.
Except with the new update the AI comes in force and is harder than taking out a team
I really don't understand people who try to play this without a mic not to mention a squad. I've given up on playing it without a party. 9 times out of ten my 2 teammates will go in opposite directions, get wrecked by bots and back out before you can even revive them...fun
Yeah it's really not designed for random squads with no mic. Out of all our randoms I think we've had two who were useful
Randoms on my nerves with that...or they'll come into the map stirring up all the ai they can find smh...its a death wish

Big Tip I can give the cargo missions start one up which causes a gunner version of LTV to spawn in a garage once you open the garage cancel the contract so when you start driving away the attack helicopter doesn’t spawn this also applies to ship cargo which spawns a armored boat this has really helped me and my team in numerous situations.

At the moment, you don't need any key, cause it's bugged/glitched already. For instance : stronghold : put yourself in front of door (really close with your nose against door), a teammate pushes you in with ATV or Buggy and will actually push you through the door, then you can unlock it from inside and all can loot the whole place. Works for most doors with key at the moment. (I like DMZ mode, but it's a bugfest for now)
Tried it today at police academy on a door I've done it on before and it rubberbands you out of the building now.

A buddy and I used this method on the Fast and Strong mission, clear 3 strongholds in under 15 seconds. Smaller strongholds, jump on truck to see through upper windows and kill a few, one gets pushed in, leaves door locked and clears all but one enemy. Then unlock door and kill enemy. Boom. Roasted.
@@simon-jv4qb Still works, yes. It oddly didn't work with a few vehicles types. Then we tried an AI enemy armored vehicle and it worked. Who knows? lol
Thx for the tips. I have found myself playing solo DMZ lately to complete challenges and such. Such a fun game mode but can be frustrating at times too with the relentless AI.
Only thing I would change is always carry throwing knives for close quarters and saving ammo
Semtex for the riot shields is clutch tho. Also the ftac is a realllt good gun for saving ammo. Uses the same ammo as assault rifles but operates more like a marksmans.

DMZ is easy and boring. Whats the point of cash? There is no market or any motivation. Straight up boring
So I made it to the top of the skyscraper, parachuting about 500 ft to a boat, there are no AI around as I descend. As soon as i man the boat, 5 AI spawn on the boat dock. Smh.

On missions you have to extract with lethal a or tactical, just hang out at an ammo depo. You can keep refilling your tactical and lethal by 1 every minute after cool down. When you get 2, just stow in your backpack. No need to leave the building. Then just extract

You can also just stock up on Muni boxes, paid ones at buystation never not let you equip them, and do the same at the dead drop with your teammates. Had a three man once where we had to dead drop lethals and gas and shit and we just all got a muni box and went to the drop where we each used our boxes to restock and drop. Completed the entire mission in one go.

the mode needs a lot of work, hope they can take it into the right direction and not pander to the warzone sweats that only want to player kill. they should not, period, be listening to them at all for their input regarding the mode
The game would bee alot better if people played together against the ai.and not try to kill each other.its not warzone.
You should have limited tactical and lethal equipment. Great use for money post game. Let me buy an insured weapon too. Let me craft shit. Outside of small gripes, by FAR my favorite mode.
Probably already posted, but... If you use ground loot such as the RPK, you can pick up RPK's after kills and get the ammunition. Kind of like the scavenger perk.
I found if you need a ton of something to exfil with than you can bring in like the stims mission. Spawn in and find a weapon reaupply on the map usually near by spawn. Stow your item, reaupply getting 2 more. And you can rinse and repeat every 60 seconds. I try to always build to 5-7 stims at spawn if I’m going in after a lost round and don’t have good armor plates. The few minutes it takes is well worth it.

No matter what you do there is no way of dealing with the cheaters and exploiters it's just full of scumbags
I have several hundred games of DMZ played and several hundred Operator kills. Tier 4 in all Factions, and I've yet to run into a single hacker. I haven't even run into a single person that was suspicious of cheating. My PvP experience has been pretty positive for the most part and out of the several hundred fights I've been in (whether it's a 1v3+ while playing solo or 2v3+ while playing with my duo) I've run into MAYBE 5 teams that were actually decent. Not even really good, just decent gun skill and could hit some shots consistently. I've been playing since day one so I'm wondering if it's the region you live in that has a higher concentration of cheaters? I've always wondered how the matchmaking works bc most people I've come across are pretty bad at the game. Like they seem like the kind of players who go down to bots a lot lol

My squad and I (friends irl) that have day jobs only get to play for a few hours each night. We take our insured weapons in on the first and last matches only. At the end of the night for our final game, we all run to exfil immediately and swap weapons, that way we have a hefty supply of pro tuned contraband weapons. My contraband inventory is always full of bad ass armor melting lead spewing ARs and LMGs.

I was/am stuck on the challenge where you have to destroy the reinforcement helicopters with the LMG at the airport terminal.
I had all the correct attachments but it wasn't counting for me.
As it turns out you need to be MOUNTED for it to count. It doesn't explicitly say that so I thought it was bugged.
I didn’t need to be mounted. It’s just glitchy. I had to make sure nobody else shot it but me though
Me and my squad are about to have to do the mission to get operator kills at the mall and we thought it was going to be impossible but that weapons case tip is a great idea!!!
My team and I teamed up with another group and we just took turns killing each other and revive and it worked just fine. We did the case as well but the team killing was easier.
Also for the secondary weapon i found using shotguns is really good against the armored agents mainly the expedite 12 and the bryson 800, 890 shotguns
sniper rifles with armor piercing rounds as well, its good to clear them out from a distance and then move in. Pretty fun as well.

For everyone asking how to skip missions.
Complete 5 of the 6 missions which unlocks the 7th mission all the way on the right. Once you complete the locked mission you move to the next tier with new missions.
I just started playing this game and really like the dmz mode. I just don't know what I'm doing at all. I just follow my teammates around and kill people. No one really helps and when and when I did get a lil help I had no idea what the dude was talking about lol.
I never played warzone one or 2.0, i downloaded it and tried playing but keep getting my ass handed to me on a golden platter 🤣 I like dmz but people troll the shit out of me, saying they are friendly and when i appear i get my ass handed to me.
I’ve tried many times to be passive when I encounter other players. But it’s just pointless with the CoD community. They will ALWAYS shoot at you the first second they see you. Don’t even risk it.
I hopped on a exfil heli with 1 guy and he started shooting me, I even jump out of the heli because I didn’t want to kill him. and he continues to kill me as he’s flying away. He didn’t even get my gear he just wanted the kill.

Im pretty much done with DMZ. Much like Red Dead online, players have all but ruined it
I'm sad asf that I finally found a red key card and idk if they just automatically infil with your character, or if I just somehow missed that I had it equipped... But I lost it (pretty sure I had 2, so idk what happened tbh). Have yet to try the building 21 so that kinda bummed me out lol.
Some of the missions are super complicated tho. I still have yet to track down where any of my keys go, before I lose them that is.
Safes aren't enough for the 200k mission. Going for pure safes won't work. Best way to do that mission is get a 6 man and go for a raid weapons stash. Open the safe all together during a countdown and you'll all get around 30k in cash. That's already between 120-180k once you combine them. Then you do supplies and safes to get the rest.
Likewise, people may not see your hostage exfils on maps but they absolutely can see the choppers in game and absolutely will camp you out and kill you for no fucking reason. They can't take over your mission and you joining them will lose it. They might be able to ride out on chopper with you but none of them ever will ask you to do that. They will literally go prone in your heli and open up on you the moment they see you. I have had a team camp my hostage exfil and when I managed to survive long enough to put my hostage down to try and fight back, was fighting two guys and moving, the third went to the hostage and killed them on purpose. After already spraying down my two teammates like a firing squad as they went to go up the ramp.
I was exfling near airport and ahkdar village the other day, by the gas station, we were halfway up and out when all of a sudden we start getting shot from the front window of the chopper. Someone, some fucking how despite their really not being any high positions around to do this from, jumped onto the top of our chopper and crouch walked through the blades to kill us when we were already halfway out. They couldn't loot us in time and couldn't even get to our bodies. They just did it for the hell of it apparently.
Also, sometimes helicopters will take off with your bodies and teammates when killed on them and sometimes they will carry them halfway across the map before glitching out and dropping you out the bottom.
This game literally isn't fun anymore. People are griefing just to grief. They get fucked so much they want to be dirty and grimey to other teams just because they can. Camping spawns and exfils, sniping them, rushing straight into fresh players with fully geared teams and loot. I went 6 games yesterday and all but one of them I was spawn killed. The one I wasn't? Killed at exfil by the roof chopper guy I mentioned above.
I always play solo , it gets tuff but it's the only way I can get anything done mission wise
Missions in DMZ are the wrost part of the game. You won't find what you're lookign for the active mission..for example.

I like using thermites because when you throw it at Shields they drop them and then you can pick it up and beat them to death with it

Thanks for the video. Quick input : for the comfort of the viewer, i'd lower the sound of the game. Sometimes hearing all the shooting and blasting gets in the way of the comfort of listening to the tips. Just my 2 cents
What are the top tips you can offer to a player (like myself) who often plays solo? Since I am retired, I have a lot of free time (while most of my friends still work full-time). So, I often play alone because I've found that if I join with randos everyone has their own agenda and runs off to do their own thing.

For shooting down Reinforcement Choppers with the Sakin LMG its gotta be done while doing Missions or Strongholds only found that out the Hard way!

DMZ is much more easier to play PvP style than PvE style now
this isn't a skill issue only
maybe reducing the damge from player to player is the easiest way.

Me too. It's horrible. I just wish a crash wouldn't count as a death. If crash let me keep my gear. But hey I get it I'm sure if they did that someone would figure out how to exploit it.
i had no freakin clue you can skip 1 mission.. been dying over n over for ONE mission.. now i can finally move on to others... thank God...
In high ground you can go in to the gun wall and choose what gun u want to max equip it in main slot and fly the gunner helo. U will max weapons faster bc it is based on kill streaks. Your team has to complete however to get xp. Has not been patched as far as i know.
Sucks that they can put SBmm everywhere and punish hood performance but they can’t have matchmaking for people on the same missions
I was playing last night and had 3 helos drop off AIs back to back behind me. They ate up like 6 plates and all of my ammo and absolutely screwed me
about weapon extract ... i dont know how, but I have that done... maybe we need to get insured weapon from any player and extract. I didn't made any Hunt contract, but took a weapon from dead guy and it counted.
Not only do you fight smart AI but you’re also up against other players… this game is brutal.

morning, since they updated thi gs u can now get upto 6 ppl in a team n help.. this the new tip. but more or less ppl don't chat n I hate this. ppl on xbox can use a pair or Bluetooth headset n there phone n app to cut the oh iv no mic bs out. sorry.. but if u can play this game u should have a mic or at least ping up ppl or bots.
I load in and do a destroy supplies contract first usually then go buy a lot of plates (or backpack/vests)
I try to drive the armoured pick ups if possible because bots drive those too. Any other vehicles only human players drive so if you see any the other vehicles on the map in red you know it is a team of operators not bots.
have you run into this issue? you complete a mission, but it wont let you remove it from your list of 3, so it sits there hogging 1 of 3 spaces, completed
I'm that guy , will repeat missions, will revive no problem deploy deploy
no guns and no cash in battle royal but everything you can think of in DMZ but AI are relentless.

The reason the bipod airport mission didnt count is because you need to use the bipod by mounting on the ground or on a surface, this way i got it first try
It might just be frustration getting to me but I feel like they nerfed the drop rate for stronghold keycards.
Armored enemies seem to drop them a little more frequently from my experience

Just climb down through the roof you don't need the key
