- In this animation, we join classic Sonic as he ventures into a particularly troubled future (no hate against the game Sonic: Forces).
Also, Sonic Mania has been released! Hope everyone is enjoying it so far, and I certainly can't wait to play it!
Just wanna say, don't take this video as hate on Sonic Forces! I'm quite optimistic and excited for that game myself!

It wasnt like tht it was because of the Ruby phamtom tht classic Sonic ended up in Sonic forces
in the official animation for sonic mania, he actually comes back from sonic forces. so forces takes place before mania

Sonic's friends are the coolest characters in the history of video games... as for the OC's, it's just a fun little addition because we've never had character creation in Sonic before.
If you think about it Sonic has only had a few bad games in his history, Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric are the first to come to mind, but other than those most Sonic games are good especially 3D games.

Metal Sonic I don't really understand why we compare them tho. Like they're Sonic games yeah, but in terms of design mentality, visuals, heck even plain of existence, they're entirely different. You don't really see Super Mario World vs Super Mario Galaxy comparisons very often for that same reason. 2d and 3d are completely different
