Thanks a lot for sharing your adventure, Vincenzo. It is an excellent choice to make Part 1 your visit with Nino. I was touched and inspired by Nino's story, and his kindness and generosity. I was especially touched by your heartfelt reaction to the very precious gift he had prepared tor you. I have to say that this very soecial episode made me decide to make a purchase from Delta. Thanks again for sharing, and please keep up the excellent work.
Vincenzo, I do not have the words to express how wonderful this video is! Like others I was almost in tears myself at Mr. Marino's graciousness and generosity with his time and awed by his obvious love of what he does. I might have sobbed openly at receiving the ultimate unique SPECIAL EDITION pen! Having his wife and yours in the video added even more human interest. I think you are both lucky to have such lovely spouses. Never doubt your skill at telling a story and producing amazing videos. I cannot wait for the upcoming videos. How do you come back to real life after such a fairy tale experience. I cannot even imagine how it was for you and your wife! Welcome home!
My city, Naples, is a gentle romantic tale when seen from afar, sadly turning into a tragedy, up close. I'm Neapolitan (born and raised until I was 13) now living in England. In your video you can see my home and it elicits homesickness. We return twice a year and we really miss it.
Loved the video ! Very personal and emotional. Although I have admired Nino’s work and his brands I don’t own any of his pens. I will make a point to acquire one. He showed the same passion you did. Thanks for sharing.
How wonderful Vincenzo! Thank you for introducing us to Nino and his wife. Delta will now be one of the brands I will check out at the next pen show. Glad to see you back.
Thank you Vincenzo! I own three Maiora and I greatly enjoyed seeing the behind the scene thour. A wonderfully Italian "melodramatic" story which ends with beatiful products for others to enjoy.
Thanks much for the very interesting video. It was cool to see the factory, but especially to hear your summary of the inspiring interview with Nino. It helped to feel his passion and artistry as well as the negotiations to make old Delta and new Delta a unique force. I’ll have to put one on my wishlist. Grazie.
simply an amazing heartfelt video. I was blown away with what it takes to make a classic fountain pen. Very educational for me. I anxiously await the rest of your journey.
Vincenzo, thank you so much! I just found your channel, and I am so glad i did. Nono is a special man, and the gifts he gave to you and your wife are so beautiful. Blessings
Thank you! For sharing such a precious moments of your trip and visit with Nino of Delta . So emotional 🥹 beautiful gifts ! Those pen’s Wow 🤩 just elegant ❤
Bravo! An incredible and heartwarming story, thank you for sharing your first-hand experiences of a company with clear passion and genuine quality control. Italian hospitality at its best! Now eager to add a Delta pen to my collection. And glad you stayed true to your style, you are a master storyteller.
Thank you, Vincenzo for sharing this wonderful visit to Naples and your personal time with Nino Marino and Delta Pens. I got teary eyed myself when he presented to you and your wife these gorgeous pens. What a beautiful and generous man he is. Can't wait for videos part two and three. Ciao!
Vincenzo, your videos have always shown your emotions. They are not just informative, cookie cutter, templates. They let the personality and character of you shine through. Your telling of the adventure was very revealing of your heart and passion for the subject matter, the host, and your child-like exuberance of the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This ranks as one of my favorite pen videos. Saulute e benessere.
Great video, Vincenzo! I enjoyed it very much, and it was totally interesting, entertaining, and educational. What a wonderful experience you and your wife had with a lifetime of wonderful memories, and most importantly wonderful new friends.
I got tears in my eyes when he gave your wife the fountain pen then yours. Oh my what a great man I am already looking for a fountain pen from him to buy. Thank you for sharing. It was also very interesting to see the factory and how pens are made. Grazie Mille
Molto grazie Vincenzo!!! Just an amazing video. I enjoyed every minute of it. Seeing Nino Marino’s factory and hearing him describe the processes was incredibly enlightening and fascinating. I’ve heard great things about him and his generous spirit and talent and it played out in real time. Thanks to you and your wife for sharing your personal vacation with us and taking us on your journey to Italy, the country of my heart. Blessings.
Thank you for sharing, Vincenzo! Nino is a great person and I am honored to call him friend. I own more of his pens than any other brand. i must admit that tears rolled down my face when watching the gifts you and your wife received! This video is so wonderful beyond words!! Thank you again. Cannot wait to see the rest of your trip and what happens next!!! Bravo!!!
Great video and very nice visit. It always stays important to show women and men that are making these wonderful instruments with passion and talent for us. Bravo to your wife and you for sharing this amazing experience, and bravo to Nino and Oksana for the spirit you inject to each pen made by your factory 👏. Cheers from Austria.
THANK YOU, Vincenzo, for sharing your vacation with us! What an AMAZING experience! Mr. and Mrs. Marino SHOULD be proud of their wonderful Facility and products! Maybe some folks will now not complain about "everyone should have in-house nibs"! When you realize that they would be three times more expensive, you can understand. And the Jowo nibs are a wonderful product! The factory tour just goes to show how much hand work is required to produce our favorite product, the fountain pen. I have to admit that when you and your wife received your gift pens, I started tearing up, too! BEAUTIFUL gifts from BEAUTIFUL and talented people! Very touching! Can't wait to see the rest of your vacation videos, and THANKS again!
What a wonderful experience with Nino and family, and an amazing gesture with a one of a kind pen! I'm very happy for you and I hope you and your wife use your gifts in good health :)
Thank you Vincenzo for this interesting and touching video! I cried at this huge surprise from Nino, just madness! And I agree with you. You don't have to imitate anyone or adopt the nature of the videos, your style and your manner make them special! Thank you for letting us participate and I'm already looking forward to the second part 🤩
What a fabulous visit. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I feel very honored. My mother’s family is from a small town near Naples, Dragoni. One of these days I’d like to visit. Until then I’m going to continue collecting Italian fountain pens and Delta is certainly on my list. Such a thoughtful, kind man to gift you and your wife those treasured pens. I actually had tears in my eyes watching. Can’t wait for the rest of the videos.
Vincenzo, Thanks very much for this, for us that will possibly not be able to get out of our own backyards. It is nice to have people travel the world and open our eyes to other worlds that you see in pictures/magazines. And to educate us for the love of pens. You are such a Gentleman! ♥
Dear Vincenzo…Thank you and your wife so much for taking us with you to Naples and for sharing your visit with Nino and Oksana Marino. It was a fascinating eye opener into the fountain pen manufacturing process and the history of Delta. Hats off to the Marinos for their unmatched generosity and work ethic. A Delta fountain pen has moved to the top of my shopping list. Anxiously awaiting parts 2 and 3 of your odyssey!
Thank you for sharing. What a beautiful city and am so happy for you making a new friend. I learned a lot about Delta. I too got emotional when he presented the gifts. Looking forward to the next two chapters of your incredible vacation.

I so much enjoyed this visit! Am very much looking forward to the next two instalments of your Italian pen odyssey. I, too, am an Italo-Canadian fountain pen enthusiast. But I found the background muzak on the video extremely annoying, distracting, and unnecessary, making the spoken words challenging to fully appreciate. 869 / 5.000 Hello Vincenzo, many commentators have already expressed in the best words what moved me as well when I watched your video. A more than interesting video in every respect. I know why I value Delta, Maiora and Nettuno fountain pens the most and Nino Marino and his wife have confirmed this again. This is one of the very best videos from the fountain pen community that I have ever seen, because of the expertise, the open, honest conversation, the warmth and the passion. Have you spoken to Mr. Marino about the FP that you (unfortunately rightly) criticized? What did he say? I ordered and received the Nettuno 1911 Superba in green from Casa della Stilografica a few weeks ago. One of my grail FPs. Now I just need the Maiora Ogiva "Fire" RGT with the Flex EF Nib. Waiting for the next Rome video. BTW are there any pens left after your Italian tour?
I love your FPT content! Thank you for sharing all the knowledge and cool trips. But, the music has to go, please dude, spare us the dramatic tunes and background droning sounds are, to this viewer, stressing. . You have a fine speaking voice, that’s enough. The opening could be 75% shorter as well. Pretty cheeky I know considering it’s free but I want to continue watching your show. Auf wiedersehen, ciao, bye for now!
Thank you for your constructive criticism however I have so much fun and I put so much passion. The music just gets me going and I hope you can bear with it but I’ve minimised the use of music in my future videos.
I'm sorry Vincenzo but please, please turn off the background music: it's incredibly distracting and your video really doesn't need it. I want to concentrate on what you are telling us. When I realised it went on for 45 minutes I had to stop watching as it was driving me nuts after 5 minutes.
@fountainpentherapy I would echo the request to turn off the music especially when you have the interview in Italian. just pointing that out since you will do more in the series. Making videos on site is hard with audio and video to control, but the post production soundtrack is distracting and makes it harder to hear. By the way lovely gift from Nino. Very special.

Wonderful video. Please remove the music 🙏🏻
A little music is good for the soul.
I liked the music. I think it added a powerful emotional feeling to the video.
Like television on honeymoon, unnecessary
@davidalexanderwattenbergersteinhemmingus The guy just produced a video for us, who made you director? Sit back down!
Just dec volume a tad
Lovely- adds anticipation.❤
Whilst I enjoyed the content greatly, I find the music very, very intrusive. I think the repetitive nature of it makes it worse.
