Yeah, having the removable top really made a huge difference to how easy the build was. Hope you can find it for a decent price. Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
Need to connect them to the motherboard. Look for an ARGB wiring how-to, this case has a hub. . Hope this helps. Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
Was trying something different, seeing if that might appeal more to the ADD/ADHD crowd 😂. We've discontinued this for future reviews. Thanks for your feedback!
This is a really good option for a new build as it not only has great airflow, features and is easy to build in, but the removable top and front panel USB-C are welcome quality of life upgrades. Just be careful with a top mounted rad!
The CPU clearance on the case for large air coolers is 167mm, the Noctua D15 is 165mm, Deepcool Ak620 is 162mm so they should both fit. Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
You forgot to mention the two front fans are blocked halfway by the metal front panel which is cut to support 3x120mm and not 2x200mm. It loses almost half the airflow because of that. Fans generate most airflow around the edges as well. This is a huge reason why I dislike my CM h500 case and looks like this "successor" still has this issue. Really disappointing from Cooler Master.
The front is still a very good location to mount a radiator and or different 120/140 fan combinations. The large 200mm fan moves far more air than smaller ones, so either way this isn't an issue we felt needed addressing. Good observation though. Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
This is a good observation, i agree with you. I got H500 and i mounted my 2 200mm fans inside making them pull. I feel like pulling air inside they are moving more air with less turbulance. Anyway, like you said, this case should have more opening on the front like Fractal torrent to optimize fans air flow...
Had one for two years. Honestly, for the price asked, it's just not worth. Though it has the size of a full tower, the HAF-500 does NOT make good use of it's internal space. The extra fan is just a gimmick to sell and the HDD may be just extra noise, totally unnecessary for several builds. The half shroud is seriously rage inducing... they could've just made a full shroud and hid the HDD's. It also barely fits some beefier air coolers, like the Assassin III. It has some good pros, like the rubber pads for the SSDs and the huge fans on front, but overall it charges your premium price for a not-so-premium experience.
Fair points, though 2 years back, cases with front USB-C were hard to find for $100USD. Now you can get fish tank with Type-C for like... $80? I liked it when it came out but case design has continued to evolve, agreed.

The removable top for the fans looks real nice, and i really like the front with the bigger fans and mesh for airflow.

@@Techspin Oh ok. I did like the review. I have an older HAF case. This made me look at the newer HAF cases instead of reusing for a computer build,

Hi there!!! Does this case can fit the large air coolers like the noctua d15 or deepcool ak620?

@@Techspin thank you!
Is it possible to mount 200 mm fans on top of the case? Thanks in advance.
yes

@markotto1767 Hmm, if they made a removable rad/fan bracket that would solve this issue.
@@Techspin agree with you, like fractal has made

TD 500 MESH V2 review please
They got a V2? Hmmm, interesting. May have to check it out...
It better deliver if it's expensive! :P
Exactly! But since we got it at a discount here in Taiwan... It's not a bad deal. 😏
Yes, finally! a reviewer that covers some gotchas for a case!
