I bet! We feel most alive when we're immersed in the elements. It seems like we remember things best when we're just at the edge of our comfort zone. Thanks for watching!
It’s amazing how warmer the springs are in the winter and how cool they are in hotter months. Wekiwa is a great all-round park. You can swim, hike, paddle....etc. Great video
I know right? When we were in the water it felt so much warmer than when we got out. In the summertime though the water feels way to cold to jump in! Such a great park to explore. So glad you enjoyed! 😊
Such a nice way to spend a day - swimming, pancakes and vegan sausages, and hiking!!!! Another really wonderful video!!! I swim on a daily basis but in an indoor swimming pool with only occasional swims in fresh water or the ocean. I have been surprised by how cold it gets in central Florida! Loved the quick shot of your amazing cat too!
It really was a great day even though it was cold! We thought you'd love to see a quick clip of our cat Beamer. He's such a cute cat. 🐈 Thank you so much Freeman! Hope you're doing well! 😊
Right? A lot of mud! It definitely makes the trail more interesting but after sludging around in that stuff, jumping in the cold water sounds pretty good. Love your trail name! 😊
Definitely! We've camped at Salt Springs and it was also very nice. We'll have to go back there again and do a video. Thanks for the suggestion! So many great springs in Florida!
We haven't had the nerve yet to swim when it is cold lol. We would love to take one of the manatee tours. You guys are crazy! Keep it up! Wekiwa springs is beautiful and on our list of places to visit.
Haha! It felt crazy thinking about leaving our warm tent, stripping down and jumping in the water but it was so refreshing! It's a beautiful park with a lot to do. Well worth camping there. 😄
That's awesome. We're definitely Floridians since we can't take the cold. And actually it wasn't the water that was so cold, the outside air was about 40 degrees while the water was only 72. So we were freezing but we were even colder when we got out! 🥶
We wish! We're still weekend warriors at the moment but definitely working hard on our dream of being able to do this full time! We actually made a video on exactly that: ua-cam.com/video/afzADaaa9Vw/v-deo.html It's simple (but not easy). Spend less, earn more, and invest the difference. Over time you won't be able to help getting to your goal. Your dreams are worth it though! 🤩
Am being watching some of y'all videos 😊 i like it so far but can't get out of my head 🗣️🗣️ you sound and kinda looks like Adam from two n half man.. charlie brother
Strange right? It's a bit wild to think about swimming where there could be alligators, but thankfully they're typically not interested in us. The threat of alligators also seems to be a bit less in springs like this one that are enclosed with a concrete barrier. It's the ones that are open to the wild on all sides that are really interesting! 😅
Hi! The state park website still talks about swimming being allowed in the park's swimming area. Are you possibly referring to the Wekiwa run or river? Those areas are off limits to swimming.
Reminds me back when i was a kid id go swim at night after rain storm and my pool was like bath water it was awesome

You're so welcome Nick & Rachel! So glad you enjoyed. Wekiwa Spring is a great weekend getaway kind of place. 😊
Hiked the entire white trail recently and yes, there is a LOT of mud! The Cozy Campsite is really nice but not the easiest to get to. - Good Witch

Awwwww wow so cool. I was a competitive swimmer. Cold waters are home to me. I’m from Ohio.
