    What a beautiful car! I really like how you knew exactly what you were working with and treated the rejuvenation of the various parts of this car with great respect and still got great results. Well done.

    😃Lovely modern classic car, you have made her look proud again . Still believe the older versions of these vehicles , up to the Silver Seraph 1998 - 2002 are so much more beautiful than the newer models.....

      Couldn’t agree more, it’s much the same with Bentley the last good ones were the arnage and turbo R circa 2000/02. The interior took a dive on them after with many bmw for rolls and vag for Bentley interior componentry. Also exterior all the chrome is now plastic on the Bentleys so so much plastic 🙈

    Respectfully, all Silver Shadows use RR363 hydraulic fluid. Mineral oil was not used as a fluid medium until the Silver Spirit was introduced.
    Superb work and attention to detail! Top marks!

    I appreciate the balance you made between carfection and originality.

      Thankyou very much. And yes it’s sometimes hard to strike that balance. Sometimes you really have to read the car and the owner to make the best recommendations for them. Owners don’t really know what they want or need 90% of the time. It’s up to us to give a very honest assessment and outlay all their available options.

    Rear electric windows are the best feature plus the additional button to close the last inch. Would have liked to see how you dealt with all those concave curves and thar scratch down the bonnet line.
    Lovely car and finish.. well done

      @@thedetailingdoctor5746 Hi , Thanks for the ❤️ I appreciate when I know something I wrote someone else values what I have said. ,Honestly, I think you posting your story would be Awesome, I think your customers would be so extra delighted 😀 In it too, Honestly my heart just sank when I saw what u wrote and the impact on you , it made my blood boil !! Because honestly when you where homeless, you could of been killed , I’m sure living on the streets was also bullies & if I was to guess , Most likely played a hand in PTSD. I’m rather a private person but feel compelled 2 share my story.I wrote that as I was so disgusted with even some of the comments from some where just so rude, insulting & Bullies, I give back as good as they give & then some , as I find it so weak done faceless !! , James show since Darren G , was on to me has lost integrity & so many low rent comments, That guest on Shaun Atwood’s channel x2 ( The first one his story was told 100 times better , & There’s very few people on there just been nasty and plain rude. Seeing you in person, you talk so eloquently & wondered if u had private schooling , The Little bit you wrote about the impact it had, blows my mind & you should be so proud of yourself!
      Your right in it changes ones life path (always Negatively ) I honestly think it’s underestimated & infact see it as a crime & More needs to be done., My life could of been 1000% different, However people I think underestimate that fact in my case it took Just 2 girls too change my path, I didn’t become homeless but didn’t do what your done which I so admire . I changed schools at 9 , went from best reader/writing too MILES behind in what is one of the most expensive suburbs in NZ. So I was called a dummy, thick, beatings every day when walking home , and put down because we didn’t have a pool ( Not been brought up even aware , infact I lived in the most expensive street however was brought up to respect all races, creeds, and totally unaware of class $$ ) The stupid & Sad thing about it , is “Kids believe it “ & been told by not having a pool , I felt less than ( which is just so ridiculous,however kids now must go thur hell with designer cloths etc. Now this was in the days microwaves had just come out, I was dyslexic hence it wasn’t known back then. The physical bullying, thou not nice every day, it’s the “Bullshit” said that’s the true damage !! After half a year of beatings, I went home cut all the buttons of my raincoat , cried showing them to Dad/Mum claiming look what they did, My DAD said, what’s wrong with you, You know how to fight , You need to wack them back.It’s ok to defend yourself.MMmmmm Well , very next day , I get to the spot of my daily beatings, I fought back , leaving them both annihilated bawling their eyes out. I have not been touched since, HOWEVER, I believed I was dumb,gave up on myself, then I engaged my new power & became the bully.
      Despite been told I’m intelligent , Was expelled,drugs,wasn’t till I was in late 35 , The penny dropped so no doubt I cant image how bad you had it, To see you so young ,with own business & A very kind soul, FOR SURE !! Share your story ,I’m working on a way to use my story to help kids , I regret a few people getting in my head, BUT , I know now “ It’s not what happens too you , it how you choose to react too it !! Thanks 🙏 4 reading this…….

    I got my '89 Turbo R ceramic coated for $ 1,800.00 , lasted 6 weeks then oxidized. Of course 3 year warranty wouldn't cover it ! He wanted $ 500.00 just to redo hood ! So I got it stripped , washed , and hand waxed for $ 750.00 .

    • @thedetailingdoctor5746
      @thedetailingdoctor5746  2 роки тому +2

      That’s definitely an improper application or an inferior product I’ve seen and experienced both. Installing a ceramic coating is not as easy as people think the preparation is very intensive and if any 1 step is missed exactly what you described happens ! This is why we always say research a detailer before using them I’d even go as far as to speak with their previous clients and check what they thought of their work. I know all my clients highly recommend us and the gtechniq coatings we use. We haven’t had a single warranty claim in the 2 years we have been running officially and I don’t expect to get any in the next year either. In your case I would highly recommend getting a second opinion from another detailer or if the products they used are worth their weight and he is accredited you would be able to claim warranty via the manufacturer of the coating if he’s unwilling to play ball. Such a shame and I really feel for you $1800 is a lot of money regardless what you earn for an bad installation / inferior product.

    Excellent work. Only two points of advice on your otherwise flawless job: Never polish in direct sunlight, and never detail near trees. (You can see the pollen settling into the paint on several shots.) Otherwise, top job.

    If these are original tyre then I would be re0lacing ASAP as no tyre should be more 7 years old as the rubber become unstable. Most of the time the car are st9red on block in spain its very common to butva car away on blocks so tyres are not on the floor

      You really would if it had no mot and was being sold 2 days later ;). I advised the owner of the issues he was happy to go ahead. As long as you know what your doing with heat management and keep checking the panel temps it’s actually fine to do. It’s just when you get amateurs smashing it with a rotary in direct sunlight it becomes an issue.
