Everyone on this show is incredible, but I loved these two specifically so much. There is so much love and trust between them. They've been in the "trenches" of public schooling in a "not so great" neighborhood for so long and it's so interesting to see how they both deal with it so differently but also the same. Like it all comes from a place of love. They love and care for those kids.
I love Barbara so much, this entire cast really makes you feel for them and it's actually a really good TV show, seriously a fresh breath of air I'd say for the past 5 years
would love them to do an episode of when they first met. Would love to see the actors they would choose. For Barbara, it would have to be a great actor, one whose name she would no doubt confuse for a white actor LOL. That episode had me LOL as my mom would also get names wrong, like East Clintwood.

I don’t know if they’re actually a couple but even if they’re not it’s refreshing to see older women actually having a happy and healthy anyship instead of being constant rivals or catty bitches towards each other, that just gets tiring to watch
