He really really was not that evil, from this beatdown forward we have seen two versions, the one that got sent to the TVA an hour after this who now holds the timelines togeather and then the other that was killed by Thanos saving the last bit of his people that surkvived.

True story: when I saw this movie in the theater and Hulk said "Puny god", the audience laughed so loud, I didn't hear Loki's little wheeze of pain until I bought the DVD.

Endgame had some of the loudest cheers, screams, and hype I have EVER heard in a Movie Theater. As for Laughs, all of the Marvel movies garner those alike.
Funny thing, mine started laughing raucously when he started flailing Loki against the ground like a Dog's Rope Toy, and died down just in time to hear "Puny God." I find that absolutely perfect.
My theater everyone was on the floor laughing, but I still managed to hear the whimpering noise, it just started another round of laughter.

You have to remember, Loki had been fighting Thor for centuries, never really believing Thor was going easy on him. Then, to have the Jade Giant show him what a beat down really feels like must have been a huge shock

He was a god all these while and felt everyone was beneath him. But i feel like this encounter finally put humility in his dictionary. We see loki grow more mature over the years although still mischievous, but i believe this scene was the turning point. Also a nice touch that they set the loki series immediately after this event.

What's ironic is that this is the first avengers movie and Loki is like the most basic and Level 1 villain that the avengers have to face. Compare this to now, he has become the God of Gods and the ultimate being in the MCU, "burdened with glorious purpose".

I don't recall Iron Man being slammed to the ground by his feet repeatedly, but you do bring up a good point with Iron Man. He's survived several crash landings in Iron Man 1 and 3 that were equal to Rhodes' crash that left him paralyzed. He also survived Thanos hurling chunks of a moon at him where it looks like he's going to be pulverized. Some of the survivability can be attributed to the suits of armor, but then that asks why didn't the war machine armor save Rhodes? The sad true answer is that's what the plot needed at that moment. But I guess it's fair to say that Iron Man has shown god-like durability when he's suited up.

Fun fact: Loki's reaction when he fell was real, when filming he had the producers tie a rope around his ankle for the speach scene but not to tell him when they where going to pull it so when he was in the middle of the speach that's when they decided to yank the shit out and Loki didn't even see it coming.

At 0:19 you can see that Loki catches the arrow at the height of his neck. This is (again) an amazing detail from the MCU. It not only shows that Hawkeye's aim is insanely good, but that he also aimed for the neck and not for the head, because the helmet would stop the arrow.
