Vick was undefeated as a pro at the time. Dariush also was the first to KO Klose and Hotlzman I believe. Dariush is a bad man...but seemingly a nice guy lol

Dariush is one of the most under appreciated fighters in the ufc. He’s had great performances recently but most people aren’t even talking about him.

I’ve always liked him based in his ability to bounce back after being KO’d twice in a row. First by Barbara and Alexander Hernandez in his debut. The Hernandez KO was surely a VERY touch pill to swallow

First time Vick lost and first time his jaw was obliterated. I remember when Vick was getting KO'd left and right and everyone seemed to give Gaethje the credit for ruining his chin but forgot that Dariush laid the ground work. Overhand left...timber. Hooker also dropped him with a left hook and KO'd him 3 times on the ground. Niko Price axe kick from the bottom sounded like a baseball bat. Poor Vick.

Pre-Gaethje Vick was doing kinda good even though he got koed by Dariush. He had a nice win streak, some finishes. Looked like he deserved top 10 opponent. It was really Gaethje who broke him (no disrespect to Beneil, he's nice guy)
