When I look at your lives right now - gorgeous well stewarded property, 3.2 new acres of land, beautiful son and new baby on the way, and wildly successful UA-cam channel that just hit One Million subscribers - I see Blessed & highly favored. Both sets of your parents must be over the moon for God's grace upon you ! Your hard work, integrity, genuine nature, loving spirits, graciousness, and humility have brought you to where you are. Laura I know you hate people fawning over you :) but just wanted to express how much I appreciate you sharing your lives with us and showing us what living a good life looks like !!
Amen 🙏🏻
Totally agree Diana, we’ll said. We have grown to love Laura and her family; and honestly we feel we too are a part of your “garden” family as well.☺️💚
Couldn't agree more! Look at GOD!
Completely agree! I've been trying to find the words to say this and you've done it perfectly. Thanks!
Diana Jean amen to everything you said. God has blessed them tremendously. Love this family and channel❤️
Aaron you're on a roll - The sunflower & the birch . Everything happens in threes. Pick your third one wisely.
😂
It's his garden, too. I like that he's speaking up more.
Sandra Nason, 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that made me laugh 🤭👍 yes you are right, everything comes in threes 😆
Ooooh, I think it would be those blue fescue grasses that he doesn't like! lol
Heh. Makes me think he was the one who secretly planted those marigolds in her moon garden, lol.
This is one of my favorite videos! The diaper, the lighthearted bickering, the camera drop, the dead battery on the blower... that is some reality right there. I appreciate the imperfection. It helps me accept my own!!
This 'like" is for Aaron's quick draw shwiiing of his pruning saw at 7.19. AND for Laura's "you don't know me" at 8.45.
😂
YESSS.
Mel E, I was going to mention that in my comment, how quickly Aaron drew his saw like a sword 🗡 hahahaha
This video really did make me laugh especially the banter between Laura and Aaron hahaha
This... and Laura dropping the camera.
Mel E Yes 😂
Aaron reminds me of my son. He’s so calm, kind, and easy going (at least he appears to be). You two are a great team, as can be attested by your recent attainment of 1 million viewers! CONGRATULATIONS!🎉
He looks and has some mannerisms just like my son Eric that passed at 28 years, 3 years ago.
Sheba Coppit , I’m so sorry for your loss. 🙏🏻
Aaron is right the little birch needed to go and leave it open and airy. No more trees in there. Loved the video, you guys cracked me up. Felt like I was watching a sitcom.😁
I couldn't breathe when Aaron was on the roof, then the camera fell. I almost fell off my chair too! Oh my! My heart is pounding right now! 😂
Thank you for the reminder that it’s okay to take out things in your garden that don’t “spark joy” I always feel so badly removing things even if it’s something that I dislike every time I look at it. You are a constant inspiration!
I literally finished watching this, went and got my loppers and took out an old scraggy shrub that I’ve never liked in the eight years we’ve lived here. I’ve always thought I should get rid but didn’t get around to getting anything new to go in there. But after watching Aaron take out that tree I thought, I’m gamma just DO IT! Now I have a weekend trip to the garden centre to choose something that does make me happy when I look at that space 🙂
"The view is nice!" Yep, he's right!......Aaron is the best! Laura you look beautiful! Pregnancy is treating you well! Just love you guys!!!🤗
Hey! I’m finally “one in a million!”
You sure are!! xx
Pony tail time! Yuppie!
New Light 2 more days in 100 degree heat is perfect for a pony tail.Plus maybe a reveal of the baby’s gender. Blue or pink 🎀 ribbon.
Oh had forgot that in all the excitement!!!! Yeah pony tail here it comes! 😀😃😄😁😅😆😂😉☺😚😙😋🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤭🥳🥳💫💫👋👋🖐🖐👍👍👏🙌👏🙌👏👀💛💚💜💙💙💙💙
Congratulations on 1 million !
Aaron needs some spaghetti western music to go with his pruning saw holster moves! Congratulations on one million!
J Hunt Just commented much the same before I saw yours.
Laura, you and Aaron are so funny! I love watching you work together!!
By far my new favourite video 😁 love when both of you are in it, Aaron needs to be in more! You light up so much when his around. It makes for a warm, supportive and surprisingly informative videos that are relatable and motivating.
I agree. Aaron needs to be in more. Love them working together.
These are my favorite vlogs I have to admit! You and Aaron together, tackling the daily life and showing how "real and normal" y'all are.
"The lone soiled diaper" had me rolling! 😅😂🤣
I was thinking through the whole pruning process "keep those beautiful birch branches for ANYTHING" and you made my day! Just in my opinion, the look of birch and succulents paired is eye catching. Hint, hint. 😆
Have a great week ahead and God bless.
Sue Hinson I thought she was going to keep them for some decorating, Christmas decor or something.
Sue Hinson , city folks actually purchase birch logs and other greenery for holiday decor!
Great job & the chickens will appreciate the new branches for sleeping. The higher the better- they like it that way🤗🐔🐔🐔
Love the going back and forth sound like old married couple you know each other so well miss that the most since lost old guy in Feb you give me a reminder what fun we had just being us so special memories thanks 😊 Looks good birch looks lovely now enjoy the ret of your day
So sorry for your loss
This video is real people, real couple, real parents. Love it!
I enjoyed this so much. I can't even describe the amount of joy I feel seeing you two work together and your mom riding her bike up and pitching in.
Same!🙂
Worth a million every day! Congratulations, proud of you and so thankful to have you to watch every day. 💙🎉🌻
Laura, taking that tree out was a GREAT decision!! Nothing else needs to go there. Well, maybe another Hosta.
That was a Charlie Brown Birch tree Laura. Needed to be gone.
I agree . Looks so much better..
Loved your mom's cameo!
Looks so much better! Right decision to cut tree down. View is nice!
I need someone like Aaron to tell me the truth. 😂 I'm horrible at editing my garden. It looks so great after your pruning, and congratulations on 1 million subscribers!
Watching this 7 months later, removing a diablo ninebark I planted last summer and replacing it with a Golden Amber ninebark I bought yesterday. So funny to have this video pop up today.
That’s some serious pruning, team work make the dream works birch tree look much better The cleaning up is always a drag but you guys got it 👏🏾👏🏾😍.
Ya mom arrived and got rested just in time. Thanks mom
Oh my gosh, your garage looks like a room at the garden store with all the fertilizers and potting soils! Heavenly!!
I didnt even notice that! I had to go back... you're right!
You're the best! Anointed hands, gifted by God. I'm a new subscriber, and I'm loving your channel and every single thing you do. Congrats on 2nd baby & 1M subscribers! God bless!
Welcome 🙏🏻
I’ve Been watching over 4 years-
I’ve learned soooooo much! Laura is
Such an inspiration!
@@sherrywhitaker3369 Thanks, Sherry! Laura's amazing! I find it hard to believe she doesn't have a degree in Horticulture or Landscape Design because she's so knowledgeable and just flows with ease, as she shares a wealth of info. Not ashamed to admit I'm hooked on binge watching her videos now, lol. Do take care & God bless!
You hit 1 million....I was fully expecting to see shorts, tanktop & a pontail today!!!🏃♀️😄😉
Congratulations on the HUGE MILESTONE!! We are the happiest group of subs on UA-cam that I know of!!
Love the way you and Aaron work together. You make a great team and always treat one another with such love and respect, even when you disagree. I think a Japanese maple on the porch side will look great!
First, congratulations on one million viewers! Two, wow that area looks a ton better and this time I so agreed with Aaron. Love watching y’all work together and banter. 🌿💚
This video is why we love you guys! You hit 1M subscribers, and the first video you put out after is like “watch our shame” 😂 soiled diaper on the front porch, full gutters, batteries dying, dropping cameras; it’s all so real and genuine. Thank you for always being you guys 💕
Congrats on reaching 1 million. Great job on the trimming Arron, looks so much better.
I absolutely love your house, so much character, she’s a beauty!
I love seeing you two working together! Y’all had me laughing out loud! Congrats on a million, I’ve been watching since less than 200k!!!
This was one of my favorite videos! It was so fun to have a cameo appearance from your always-smiles mom! It's great to see Aaron on a different side of the camera too! I also enjoy the less planned and formal style of this vlog!
Oh gosh you two are such joy! Thank you for sharing your lives, your laughter and all the other good stuff with us. I laughed some great laughs during this video. Thank you, guys! 🤗
I'm Japanese, but I never imagined anyone in the US would love Japanese maples like Laura does. It's amazing to see how Japanese maples also look beautiful in gardens that are not traditional Japanese gardens.
The world loves Japanese maples
I’m in San Francisco. I love my matsuyoi and bloodgood maples!
I have a sister in California who had a Japanese maple on her old property and will have one on the new one. We have lots of Japanese maple here in Canada too.
I'm in Portland and have over a dozen in varying sizes and varieties. Love them!
It's all over, I don't have any but I love seeing them in other people's Garden
1 Million Subscribers! Outstanding. Never had a doubt!! Congratulations!🥰. Love the husband-wife negotiating!😍
Congratulations on 1M subscribers!!! Loved today's video - you and Aaron were pretty funny and it was great to see your Mom too!
Congratulations, you’re the first plant guru to reach 1,000,000 subscribers
Ummm...ever heard of Martha Stewart?!?!
The birch trimming-gutter cleaning-blowing project made such a difference! Isn’t that a great feeling when it is done?! And... CONGRATS on 1M SUBSCRIBERS!! Woohoo! Let’s have a subscriber party!!!
Oh Laura save your branches for decorating for winter ❤ Looks great ! Congratulations on the 1 million subscribers🙌🎉
Woo hoo ONE MILLION SUBSCRIBERS ! Congratulations you deserve it! Best you channel on You Tube😁🌳🌺🎉
Many laugh out loud moments on this one
And THIS is why you have a million subscribers!!! You and Aaron are such a delight - I giggled my way through this!! Loved the holster. ;) hehehe xx
We're so excited for the 1mil subscribers. Thanks Laura, Aaron for the daily inspiration💯
What a beautiful house and property
Love the energy between you two 😍
Great job Aaron on tree trimming. I was voting for you taking out the lone birch. Looks great, love you guys so much. You make work look fun & so cool when Aaron pulled the saw out of the cover. Congratulations on a million subscribers, you both deserve it all. Always my go to video first thing each morning.
CONGRATULATIONS on 1 MILLION!!! 🏆🎊🥳🎉🥇
Laura and Aaron you both do an AMAZING job and we are all so grateful for your videos and excellent content.
🌳🌺🌱🌻🌲🌷
Keep up the great work! 🤩
No tilling! It leaves you with dirt that causes dust bowl effect. You want the healthier soil! Best documentary on this called Kiss The Ground on Netflix. It addresses that issue and helps us see this problem from a whole new light.
Then less cleaning on your decks!!
It looks great! The single stem birch gone was a good idea. And I love that Laura said, “Now I can plant more!”
Great job! Removing the limbs of the birch was a terrific idea. One job always leads to another for me! Congratulations on your achievement of 1,000,000 subs. We love you!
Congratulations on the 1M subscribers. You guys definitely deserve it! You make my mornings and get me so excited to go outside and do something no matter what in my garden. I laughed so hard this morning when you guys were talking about the gutters as we started cleaning them yesterday!!! Thanks for all the joyful entertainment you give us!
My neighbor planted a birch tree right in the drain area between our houses. The tree is pretty but takes over. So over the years it has blocked outflow of rain water and produces so much debris..in summer if too dry the tree drop all its leaves. Lots to clean up. Also sucks up a lot of light
Lol Laura & Aaron! This is the funniest video ever of you guys! I love it! You guys always make my day! 😀
Congratulation Laura for reaching 1 million + subs in youtube. My friends and I here in the Philippines are watching your wonderful videos every day. 🌻 Thank you for sharing your talent in gardening and we really learned and will continue to learn a lot from you. 🌻 I hope that you'll have a lot more DIY and some Container projects to come, my mom and I love it. 🍀☘️♥️ God bless you and your family. 💯✌️🌻
The hubby’s right, you don’t need to replace the birch with something else.
Hi Laura, Aaron and Susan! The birch tree looks so much better ~ good job Aaron! I liked your quick draw with the saw! I agree with Aaron, it looks better with the small birch tree removed. Before I forget, CONGRATULATIONS ON 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!!!! 🍾 🥂 🎈 🎆 That is so awesome! I'm anxious to see what you guys will be doing to celebrate. It was good seeing Cheddar and Russell, too. The chickens will be happy with their new perches, too. Win, win for everyone! 👍 👌 Thank you so much for sharing!
Husband of the year award goes to Aron. His catch phrase to his wife " we can make it happen". (positive nod).😄
While I love the garden element of your page, I am “in love” with your family element. I love seeing the enjoyment you and Aaron have in working together. Just add a parent or two, a precious Benjamin and those two sweethearts Russell and Cheddar and you send smiles across your million member family! Congratulations to Garden Answer on your accomplishment! Continued blessings to our sweet Oregon family.
Can't deny it...one of my favorite videos. Aaron is just great!!
Watching the two of you work together in this video was pure delight!! You respect, appreciate and love each other, traits that are not seen enough any more. Also, huge congratulations on hitting 1 million subscribers!
I thought for sure you would save the birch branches and trunk for use in a Christmas arrangement, but I love that the chickens get to use them. This was so satisfying to watch, especially the real life aspects.
Aaron with the hand saw holster 🙌🏻. Priceless!
My artist eye says the bigger birch on the one side balances the two across the walkway. Taking the small random one out helps. sorry Laura!! Now you get to plant something else. 😎
Congratulations on leaving the K club and moving into the M club!! 1M reached and I think it is FANTASTIC!! Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈 🙌🏼 🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🌸
Oh, yes. Love to see the birch trunk colors more--great job, you two! Congrats on the mil! We love y'all!
Laura, you are so cute! You have nothing to be embarrassed about not having a clean deck. You are a working mom, wife, daughter and a human being. I'm sure we all have a to do list that isn't complete. Thank you and Aaron for all your videos and helpful advice! Love the videos!
A bonus for my coffee with Laura and Aaron this morning, mom on the bike!!! So nice to see your mom and good for her riding that far. The tree does look so much better and taking out the smaller one was a good idea as it just really opened things up. I love the hanging planter you have in that are as well as the light, which makes me think I might see Mr. Tumnus stepping out lol. I also love the banter between the two of you. Thank you for the inspiration!
Laura, Aaron, and Benjamin- Congratulations on your 1M subscribers! Yay! You did it! You'll have worked so hard for this! As a faithful viewer, please accept my sincere best wishes!
Pigtail and shorts time!:) congratulations! 🎊 1 million subscribers. Yahoo:)!!!
WOW. What an improvement. I really like your vision of a Japanese Maple on the house side. Why in the world does a project always seem to take longer than we expected....oh, and then the clean up😆. Hugh CONGRATULATIONS on one MILLION. Yes I am shouting from the roof tops.
That's what I've been saying all summer. ANY project I do has taken me at least four times longer than expected.
Congratulations on one million!!! No team deserves it more!!! Love you guys! Thank you for all the information and sharing your life with us. ❤️❤️So inspirational!!! 😎☀️
Oh my gosh... I watch you two almost daily and don't say much, but this morning I was getting my coffee and watching and listening and when you told Aaron, "you don't know me" I fell out laughing. 😂😂😂😂 You two were so fun to watch today not that you're not always enjoyable to watch obviously I never miss a day but this morning I loved every minute of it . I love your Vibe together oh and I love that birch tree you trimmed it up so beautifully can't wait to see what you do with the flower bed around it , and last but not least I agree with Aaron the little Birch needed to go. It's always great to see your mom too. Thank you so much for the privilege of allowing me to learn from you both in such a fun way if you knew all the property I was dealing with here and all that I do on my own. The results have been so beautiful over time, but I do get overwhelmed at times so I go sit down and I tune back into Garden answer for motivation and knowledge thanks again God bless.
I highly recommend the tankless hot water systems. We have used them for 20 years & they are more energy efficient. You won't run out of hot water & you don't have to worry about a tank leaking.
In the nearly 30 years at this house, I'm on my third water heater. I've wanted to have the tankless kind installed. Maybe the next one. By then I'll be ready for the home.
I really enjoy having Aaron in the videos. A lot of times he either walks off or turns around. You guys are so cute and compliment each other well.
Congratulations on 1 million!!!! I love those lights you have hanging around the porch!
It looks so good! Aaron is all about taking out tall things. And he is a cowboy wanna be. I love his personality. You guys are so funny. And the diaper! I love it. That’s life at Garden Answer. Thanks for the beautiful view and the smiles. God bless. Oh, momma looks so cute in her outfit.mlol. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
OMG, BIRCH TREE, I had a clumped birch on my old property and had to call the arborist every year to prune it. Always ripped shingles off the roof. That tree is a beast, but beautiful. Congrats on 1m subs. Love you guys. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Congratulations Aaron and Laura on 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!!! Whoooo!! Yayyyy!! You guys deserve it - you put so much effort in to giving us sooooo much excellent, inspiring and informative content. You're both so kind and sweet, it's a pleasure to follow along with your journey. 🎉🍾👏💕💛
You hit a MILLION! Congrats! Love watching your garden and family grow and all the great information you share.
Birch trees are awesome. You should have dug up the tree and replanted.
Laura and Aaron, I think the area looks so clean and fresh.
Seeing your mom was such a nice surprise. She always makes me smile!!😃😃😃
I am watching you every Day from switzerland you are so nice 🇨🇭
🌳Oh my gosh, you two are hysterical! Thank you for joining me in my morning coffee, and a true reality show! While "cutting" or shaving our favorite trees, I try to remember "it's sometimes a good thing"! You did a most excellent job -- the battery is dead -- too funny 😂💚
Major improvement! Please, don’t plant another tree of any kind next to the birch. Let it shine on its own. Negative space is restful for the eye and the soul.
I agree with you
I agree.
Watching Aaron with the saw & holster reminds me of cowboys in westerns! 🤠 Love watching you two work together, reminds me when my husband & myself work together on projects! The Birch looks so much better!! The gutters & balcony look better too! Love seeing your Mom show up on her bike & pitch in with the clean up!! Like you I am always looking for new areas to plant things! Those two cats are cute! My cat likes to fight too & I have war wounds too! 😍💚🌳🪚✂️🪠🧹🐱🐈🐱🐈
Congratulations! You both are well worth the success. You have certainly changed things for me. /Love from Sweden.
Looks so good now! I'm with Aaron ..that little birch needed to go and leave that space empty Laura 😉 🙃 Your Mums amazing ...she works do hard and makes time to cycle ...love her 😍🤩
Congratulations on your 1 million subscribers!! Thoroughly enjoy watching your progression over the years and hope there are many more years to come!
The removal of that single stem birch tree to me was very much needed. To me it was as if the larger birch was choking it. The whole clearing of the birch tree in general is spectacular as it represents new energy flowing to your house, better “feng shui” , which by the way does apply to gardens. In fact that is exactly the project I am currently doing - clearing away hanging branches that don’t amount to much . Laura I would not plant another tree there as it will again block your view. I would go for low plants or shrubs. Congratulations on 1 million subscribers! Laura and Aaron, you are a dynamic team ! Thank you for all the hard work ! You have definitely influenced the way I garden!🇨🇦
Great job, Guys. Now you have better light and air circulation and a veranda/patio with a great view.😊😊😊
So did I! They crack me up! What an adorable duo. 😍
The prune job looks great. It’s nice to see you and Aaron working together. Joking and enjoying each other’s company.
You guys are just the cutest! "You don't know me!" 🤪😂
Thinning out the beaches on your birch tree makes the tree feel better and you also. I have a live oak tree in my front yard. Before I bought this house last year in October it needed to be thinned out, didn't get until July. Wow what a difference. You two have a lot of fun working together and then your mom shows up and made it even more fun for you. Have a wonderful day.
Your philosophy of removing plants we don't love has influenced me in a profound way. I, too, am guilty, all too often, of limping things through that just don't belong. Your house looks so much better without being smothered by the birch.
I know, I am so happy she was able to convince me of this. I spent way too many years hating certain parts of my garden or certain plants because I thought tossing them was a waste or something. I always try to find someone to take the plants I don't want, but if there are no takers, it's still ok for me to part with it.
@@karie3 Yes, Karie R...I can relate! Bwahahaha But those little corners of my garden are now on notice. haha
Were you a subscriber when she took all that heat for ripping out the first elm tree? Holy moly, the nonsense in the comments section...
I can't tell you how many of us had to bark back at people "IT'S HER PROPERTY!" Ridiculous...
@@Bamboo4U2 Yes, Jake, I remember. I'm a plant fan...not so much people. heehee
@@vallis1469 yes I remember. I have been watching their videos since they lived at their old house. I watched their garden tour of the last place they lived and have been watching ever since.
Woot! Woot! Congratulations on reaching one million subscribers! I know it's not about numbers for you, but you really are making a difference in the world. One person, one garden at a time. All of those people add up to a better world. So happy for you and the positive influence you are. You also have an AWESOME crew (which includes family and friends) who have helped influence the world. Congratulations to all of you!
P.S. Just my thoughts, but as far as ever wearing shorts and a ponytail to "celebrate" one million subscribers, you got this far by being yourself. Stay true to who you are and it will be fun to see how far you will "grow." ❤️🌳🌼🌳❤️
Christine I totally agree with letting Laura be herself I thought that all along!
