I'm probably gonna have the same question compared to the rest of the comments, how does this compare with the sundaras? I'm planning to get either one of these but I am yet to decide which I want.
@@FlowState194 I am considering the Fiio FT3 even though it is their first headphone because it is easier to deal with a dynamic driver, while the planner in the Fiio FT5 worries me a little because it is a driver that needs experience and its quality to be high
the correct title should be Planar War comes to the big names , within the real Chifi market, Planar had been very much in vogue with the Headphone gang ,as it was and as it is , its just that most never get over the border or rather only Hifiman made an effort to market to sale oversea
I've heard that the fuzzy pads are bad on these. The fake leather ones are the best. It fixes the base and makes them really good with detail. Basically makes them an almost totally flat response with a little extra treble. I keep seeing all reviewers using the fuzzy pads though :(
I am going planar for the 1st time and wanted a bass heavy headphones as I listen to heavy metal and EDM. Do you recommend the fiio ft5 for me? And what about a portable amp with bass boost on it?
