Woo Hoooo! I love being tagged! Well, you all are in for a laugh, for sure. I can't wait to tell you all I know about Shakespeare from the perspective of a small town American kid growing up in the 90s! hahahaha! Thanks for the tag. I loved hearing your answers... and I relate to Beatrice, too!
Thanks for sharing your Shakespeare journey. Can’t help but agree about the school experience. For this reason will definitely revisit the Tempest this month. Hope you can get to it. Solid tips for getting into Shakespeare too
Growing up in Shakespeare's county, I wish I was more of a fan. We studied a lot of plays at school and although literature and history were my favourites, it has just never grabbed me. I still enjoy hearing about everyone's experiences and the town is amazing to visit. I'm sure you'll have been.
I love roaming around Stratford. The architecture is lovely and there are some great shops and cafes too. Are you still in that area or have you moved away?
That production of A Midsummer Night's Dream sounds wonderful! The production of Othello, on the other hand, sounds like a bit of a farce. You did make me laugh out loud when you described your class in high school--"Oh let's face it, we were like a zoo...a class full of heathens." I'm sorry that you didn't have a better experience with Shakespeare in your younger years. Terrific responses, Debs. I really enjoyed this!
Thanks for tagging me in this Pat, I loved it. Yep my experience of seeing Shakespeare has definitely had some highs and one very serious low 😂. I’ve been to Stratford upon Avon many times but I’d really like to see a Royal Shakespeare Company production at the theatre there and I would love to go to The Globe

Well you’ve really whetted my appetite. Can’t wait to see what you come up with 😊

So many people have said The Tempest is brilliant, I am very much looking forward to it 😊
Great video, Debs - fun & engaging digressions.
Thanks so much. It was a fun one to do 😊
You have a treat in store with the Tempest! Laughed at Othello’s gloves!
Honestly it was painfully obvious 😂. Looking forward to The Tempest
I noticed your UA-cam channel and I'm really impressed with the content you're creating - it's engaging and insightful!

@@RaynorReadsStuff Moved away now. I'm in sunny Yorkshire, 20ish miles from Bronte country so I'm claiming that now!
@@helenclare3250 wow. Sticking with the literary theme then 😁
Debs, thank you so much for doing our tag! We love having you join in! 💛🎭

@@RaynorReadsStuff I’m envious!
Iago, in _Othello,_ is the _greatest_ (well? One of 'em!) villian! Good one, Debs 🎭
Thanks Al. Enjoyed yours too. I do love the villainous Iago 😊
