Recently completed a 9020 sff case swap into this case, everything went smoothly. I still get a fan failure error on start up even though all the fans are working, power switch adaptor works perfect but couldnt get an adaptor for the front IO. I also had to join the proprietary hd audio plug onto the cool master case audio cable, which worked surprisely well. Not a big deal but does anyone know any tricks i could try to get rid of the fan failure warning on start up?

@@TheNetGuy you’ve been a great help and I appreciate it. I am 95% done with the build of my OptiPlex 9020 motherboard into a gaming case. One last question for you: I didn’t really get much information from the video when it comes to connecting the chassis fan. Is it possible to use a Gamdias RGB M2 fan for the chassis fan? I attempted to do this but the M2 fan didn’t fit with the adapter that you listed in your description for us to get. So I’m trying to find out how to connect the Gamdias M2 fan as a chassis fan if that’s possible. I’m wondering if the chassis fan port on the motherboard is left unplugged will the computer still function, or is Dell requiring it to be used as a proprietary chassis fan port?
So some of the gamdias fans are designed to be used with their controllers. The adapter allows you to use a standard 3 or 4 pin PWM fan with the chassis slot, but not the proprietary gamdias ones. You’ll have to plug their fan in for now, and possibly add fans to the case in the future with the adapter? Amazon has tons of great fan options for cheap.
