Honestly buddy couldn't agree more. Whilst ignoring the problems with the ride itself, there's many questionable things about the queueline "theming". Like the themed signs they have, are for some reason behind wired fencing so you can barely see see them anyway, and they plan to have greenery grow around them?!? But also very surprised but ehir lack of bins / shelter which I expected. Feel like it would've been much more sensible to have the signs actually attached to the fences, and have twice as many rather than make them double sided.
@@samraymond4464 yeah they’re all obstructed, and the lack of bins/ accessibility to the bins isn’t great but an easy fix. Hopefully the park makes some minor tweaks to improve the attraction
Hyperia is excellent as a ride experience but would benefit from theming. I don't care if I get hate for this but it's a bit of an eye sore, it just sits there and completely overshadows everything. "Fearless valley" offers very little escapism to whisk it's visitors away before they get on the coaster. Hyperia doesn't blend in and doesn't do anything to support it's neighbors in an astetic fashion. It sits there and stands out like a sore thumb. That aside, upon entry to fearless valley hyperia looks excellent and is very imposing and gives a great impression. It's a shame it just "sits" there.
@@SK99v1 From what I can tell, this is mainly down to temperature and wind speed. Firstly, it's colder in the morning, and coasters (especially ones which have stalls that rely on the train inching past the element) do not run as fast on a cold track with cold wheels, hence why they get faster during the day because as the train runs through the track the friction and overall temperature outside warms the track and wheels up. Secondly, most of the time it is windier in the morning; which once again proves to be a major enemy against layouts like Hyperia. Take Hyperia's valley which occured on the 19th of June, the train didn't have enough momentum to make it up into the overbank element due to external conditions and factors. These issues combined with other limitations have forced the park to open it later on most days, it doesn't make it unreliable (because unreliability is when the coaster is unpredictable with running at normal times (if at all)), it just means it has a shorter opening window. Admittedly, it had a rocky start, but the problems (which I can't be bothered to get into now because they are unrelated circumstances) have been ironed out and as of late (and to my knowledge), the ride has been doing fine with staying open. TL:DR; had a rocky start, isn't unreliable now; just external factors which limit opening period.
Great video Sam. I agree, queue line going around the lake and the plaza in the concept art would be great.
@@davidsthemeparkadventures Good point, would’ve been so cool if they kept that!

I think the problem with Hyperia is it’s too high 😂😂😂 also I swear someone pooed in the queueline recently?!
Yeah that’s gross haha
this ride is cursed, ive been on it. its not the best coaster.. there is batter coasters out there
5:07 That wasn't funny
Wow, I'm so glad you've shared your opinion. Now we can all relax.
The problem with Hyperia is that it's unreliable.
Not really
@@tayo0404 So why is there still a warning on Thorpe Park saying that it may open later on most days?

@@SK99v1it’s a general thing for new rides teething issues are most common during the opening months/year
@antonytsai6611 Yeah, that is true, but I won't be surprised if it's still having issues after a year.
The problem is it doesn't work
😂😂
It's not very reliable.
Teething problems seem to have been resolved 🤞
