I surprisingly love this movie. I really liked it when I was younger and I recently just rewatched it and I still do. When I rewatched it though, I have to admit that they kind of exaggerated Yasmin’s heritage and also it’s very unrealistic bc high school isn’t like that. Overall it was a good movie tho :)

the thing I hate MOST about this movie is the fact they messed Chloe's personality all up. Yes, she was a blonde ditz but she was also a drama queen. (Sasha calling her Drama Mama in a lot of movies) Chloe scenes show her flipping out or overthinking things. She's a very bubbly and happy character who loves her friends to the end. Not some klutz who just exists for the sake of existing. She's playful, she's flirty, she's athletic, she's a bit of a klutz, she's dramatic but this is what makes Chloe- Chloe. Her friends help her stay grounded and the reason this peeves me so much is because Chloe was a comfort character to me. As a blonde haired blue eyes child, I took to Chloe because she looked like me and to see her painted as some dumb blonde makes my blood boil

I honestly am so confused by her singing voice lmao in the room, she was singing (I don't know if it was her real voice) but at the end of the movie, her voice was so deep and didn't fit her at all. At first, it was soft. I don't know if it was because she didn't want anyone to hear her because she's shy or what. I mean, overall, I loved her character but they got that one very wrong lol

I think its weird that sasha didnt get exposed for anything at the talent show even though all the other girls did and she was the only one who didnt have a love interest. It seems like they really didnt care about her character
They made her the strong Black woman who don't need no man. Although on the bright side I am glad she didn't get a love interest because we all know they would've handled it poorly.

In the animated bratz movies and games he’s a total womanizer and can be kind of a dick. He’s also not very smart. According to another commenter, she was only casted because she's the goddaughter to someone renowned, so it really was just nepotism, which is why they failed to say anything good about her. (honestly they could've just said that she's beautiful like the other girls, because she's clearly that)
