( = it's not long since I did my work and I am with the result of doing my work. ) For me, both of them seem to carry the same meaning. Please tell me how I can understand the difference.

If I'm done is a present simple construction=S+to be+adj, how can I distinguish it from the passive one =s+to be+pp?
