A number of people cringe over bios auto installers …. However despite that I’ve used them a few times and experienced no issues. These days they’re much more reliable than they were 5-10yr ago. I still do manual bios updates via the bios, but bios auto updaters have their place for mum n dad types or those who aren’t tech savvy. 👍🥰
Thank you very much for making so many informative videos on variety of topics! Mine laptop is HP envy x360 ryzen 5 2017 model. I tried it to update to windows 11 but there is no bios update for that model nor hp supports that model anymore. So my question to you Sir is there any way to update bios directly from bios chip vendor or any other workaround to update my laptop to windows 11? I think mine processor is amd ryzen 2500u. I am lost right now whether it is worth to invest time and efforts in this laptop. Anyways keep posting new stuff and educating people like me. Thank you very much and lots of respect for you Sir!

Update BIOS serve VRAM 2GB GPU ?
the updates now enforce the default setting which is auto, so ram is dynamically allocated

you could maybe use a windows 11 installer that bypasses the TPM and secure boot restrictions?
Tried it on 245 G8 but the WinFlash.exe doesn't show up any window.

I don't know why, but I never think about BIOS update on notebook. Maybe I'm just too lazy...🤔
it is something that often gets overlooked but can add a bit of speed and possible security to the platform
