What she didn't say is that Lbk is still quite segregated, I know I grew up there till the Army drafted me to Nam in 1971....I moved back in 2015..and noticed still segregated, but it's getting better and you can't beat 2 major tejano radio stations..no other city in tx has that.

I would have to strongly disagree. I was born and raised there. I left in 2000, last year was the first time I've been back since. Lubbock use to be a very polite, friendly and welcoming town, now it's become full of rude, disrespectful,drug addicts and theives. The people there have a severe case of road rage. I'll never return for a visit no matter what the reason.
