I would have to strongly disagree. I was born and raised there. I left in 2000, last year was the first time I've been back since. Lubbock use to be a very polite, friendly and welcoming town, now it's become full of rude, disrespectful,drug addicts and theives. The people there have a severe case of road rage. I'll never return for a visit no matter what the reason.

I took a Jericho drive around Lubbock, 7 times around the belt loop praying in the spirit and the Lord showed me some real dark stuff going on. The major stronghold is the idolization of this Texas Tech secular university and the sex trafficking going on. So yes i could see what is going on with wealthy alumni combing to the sporting events being provided prostitutes. And yes the university people facilitate it to there wealthy donors.
