The universal rule of kitchen experimentation “don’t make too much in case it’s gross” 🤣🤣🤣 very true!! This sounds surprising delicious! I mean, bacon whisky is a thing so ham can’t be much different! Smoky and pineapple are a great combo!

I always do this infusion now with my pineapple infused rum. I use it up so quickly that it’s worth it for me. I love this idea with he ham whiskey. So smart my friend. Thanks again!
Oh I have been looking for a final hoora of the bacon fat washed whiskey I make over the winter and I already have teh pineapple infused rum!!! This is being made ASAP!!!
I love my pineapples grilled! I turn it into grilled pineapple juice and use it into my cocktails to add a little bit more complexity. Works well in a jungle bird, pina colada or a clarified version, or sometimes i'll use it in a old fashioned sub for the sugar and make it a bit more tropical.
Have you ever tried Clairin Le Rocher? It's a Haitian white rum with a very unique smokey, meaty, fruity, and buttery flavor that I think would work wonderfully in something like this.
